“We had Black and Gold play at our wedding in 2017 & when it came to looking for a band for our big birthday party we knew we didn't need to look very far! They were fantastic playing/singing a variety of genres to cater for the age range of our guests. We loved the roaming sax, trumpet & Adam (lead singer) coming down onto the dancefloor. Every member of the band was fantastic & the guitarist deserves a special mention for some great solo performing, & it's so nice to have a male & female vocalist! Equally the group photo you took is a great idea to get the reluctant dancers up and dancing! We had so many great compliments from our guests & we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them! Thank you for making our Big Birthday Bash such a special day!”

Everyone was extremely talented and the mix and levels were excellent despite a less than ideal space. They got our slightly restrained crowd dancing and gave us a brilliant night that is still being talked about weeks after.”

“When the dancefloor is full from the first song, you know you have a great band! We can't do justice to how fantastic Black and Gold were at our wedding. The saxophonist led a dance train around the marquee, the singers created a dance-off, everyone had their ties around their head... it was the best party and Black and Gold were INCREDIBLE! As well as being amazing musicians, we've never seen a band work the crowd like they do. We would recommend Black and Gold 1000% and are so grateful we had them at our wedding!”
