“Will highly recommend the rodeos duo, Helen and Paul were amazing! Got everyone up dancing and played requests made by our drunken guests! 'The sound of silence' went down a treat! Fitted in perfectly well with our barn wedding, atmosphere was lovely, fairy lights, alpacas and countryside. Thank you Helen and Paul for a lovely evening”

“Our guests absolutely loved them, and so did we! They were the perfect band to have just after our meal with their relaxed and chilled out feel, their lovely voices and their tunes which suited everyone. So many people stopped to tell us how much they liked them too. They’re also lovely to speak to and deal with over email in the lead up to the wedding.”

“We spent so long trying to find the right artist for our wedding day and we are so happy we found The Rodeos Duo. They were perfect, they created a great atmosphere without being too imposing. We didn't want a typical cheesy wedding band, their versions of the songs were brilliant. If you are looking for someone a bit different choose The Rodeos Duo! Thank you again guys!!”

5 stars - The Rodeos Duo are Highly Recommended booked The Rodeos Duo for their Wedding in West Yorkshire May 2019

“The Rodeos performed at my wedding last Saturday and they were a delight to work with. When so many aspects of a wedding require constant attention, the Rodeos Duo filled me with confidence all the way through. From initial contact, arriving and setting up through to their excellent song choices performed perfectly. They even went over and above in helping me and the best man spring a surprise on the bride. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough.”

They made our day perfect! Quirky, energetic.. So unique!

5 stars - The Rodeos Duo are Highly Recommended booked The Rodeos Duo for their Wedding in North Yorkshire March 2019

“Absolutely out of this world! From the moment they started playing the guests were up and dancing. If you are looking for an ordinary wedding band, these aren't the guys for you. They are quirky, funky and played all our favourite songs which most bands probably wouldn't have even heard of, let alone know how to play! We absolutely loved them we just wish we had booked them to play all day!”

Duo: Lead male vocals/acoustic guitar/bass drum & Lead female vocals/piano or accordion

Full Biography

* Vintage, quirky acoustic duo!
* Repertoire covers 40s/50s Doo Wop & Rock n Roll as well as classic pop songs from the 60s and some modern day suprises!
* Trio also available

The Firebirds and The 45s front singers Paul and Helen are the driving force behind The Rodeos Duo. Having both lead vocalists in this duo allows them to cover material such as 40s/50s Doo Wop and Rock 'n' Roll, as well as classic Pop songs from the 60s, all of which have distinctive vocal harmonies.

With Paul and Helen being a couple, the band are constantly learning new and quirky material to play. The Folk revival that is happening currently is not passing this band by! The song choices are very varied but all very well known. Rock 'n' Roll classics are often used in films and on adverts, so there repertoire appeals to a wide audience.

If you’re looking for a quirky daytime band that will be remembered and enjoyed by your guests then look no further than The Rodeos Duo.
