Mat Stringfellow is an experienced, passionate and sensitive musician who has played guitar for over 40 years. Creating atmospheric and soulful music, Mat will enhance your special occasion with a beautiful musical backdrop.
Playing a unique mix of styles, Mat’s main influences are Jazz, Folk, Blues, Classical, Flamenco and Soul. His specially crafted repertoire covers a wide range of well-known pieces from pop icons like The Beatles, well known popular melodies and celebrated guitar pieces.
Having performed publicly for over 35 years, Mat is highly experienced in creating a flawless performance for a range of events. A consummate professional, he is always happy to tailor his live sound to suit your requirements.
Alongside Mat’s experience on stage, he also studied at the London Guitar Institute as well as with various world-renowned music teachers including Glen Velez and Reinhard Flatischler. Mat has also spent a number of years living in Spain where he studied and soaked up the Flamenco flavours!
Back on UK soil and performing at weddings, private parties and corporate events across the South, Mat spends his time both performing and teaching, sharing his passion for the joy of music!
