John has been playing guitar and singing since the age of 14. Learning his craft playing in bars and pubs around the northwest he quickly learnt how to entertain an audience using just an acoustic guitar and his voice. He has had the privilege of playing, and singing with some of the top session players in the country having hosted open mic nights in the heart of Liverpool’s cultural quarter.
As a vocalist John has sung on stage in a musical theatre context as well as singing fronting several bands. He has a soulful voice that can easily be softened to suit a wide range of styles.
John is an outstanding guitarist who has performed, often at short notice, in a wide range of party and functions bands. These have included folk based bands, funk and soul bands, pop and rock bands and as a singer in church as part of wedding services. This has enabled him to develop a wide and varied repertoire that can be tailored to any event.
John makes an ideal addition to your wedding or function and is guaranteed to entertain.
