“Hipster played at our wedding in North Yorkshire, as groom I was left in charge of finding a band and struggled a bit as most bands seemed a bit generic `wedding band`. After listening to Hipster I thought their sound was really good and they seemed really tight and had a huge repertoire compared to most bands. I felt confident booking as they had loads of good reviews and they did not disappoint on the night! They kept everyone up dancing all night and hand loads of comments on how good they were! Cheers to Joey and the rest of the lads.”

“We chose Hipster after they played at my sisters wedding. They have the best repertoire (from the 60s through to more current songs) which pleases all guests. They are so so talented and have such a good energy. They even had several people up and dancing at the sound check alone! I wish I had more events I could hire Hipster for. And if you don’t believe me, I booked hipster more than 18 months in advance and they were already nearly fully booked for July and August! Cannot recommend them enough or sing their praises highly enough (though I’ll leave the singing to them!)”

“We booked Hipster to play our wedding in July 2023. I’d had the pleasure of seeing them at an event some months earlier at which they had been able to fill the room with a big sound and great energy. We had a fusion wedding with two bands and Joe took all of the logistics out of my hands and liaised with the other band to ensure that everything ran smoothly on the day. Hipster were even better than I’d remembered, they have a great repertoire of crowd pleasing songs and a fantastic sound to match. They really got the crowd going and had everyone on the dance floor by the end of the night. We have had so many compliments about the music since the wedding. I couldn’t recommend Hipster enough and just wish we could do it all again!”

“Hipster are honestly the best wedding band I’ve seen. They have a really great repertoire, with much more 50s/60s/70s/80s rock n roll than most other wedding bands. They absolutely smashed it at our wedding, and the guests kept calling for them to stay on stage. They brought an extremely good quality set up with them, and the sound was awesome. The keys and horns were also a great addition. They are also extremely nice people and were very lovely to deal with (both in the lead up and the day itself). We have guests asking for their contact details already!”
