“We loved having The Rips with us on our wedding day, they were very professional with us and our venue, really easy to chat through requests leading up to the wedding, and how we'd like the day to go. They were very clear and helpful with what they needed from us. We asked them to learn our first dance which was no problem for them, we also had the DJ set with our booking and they managed this really well. All our guests were on the dance floor all night long! We also loved the vibe they brought and had so many compliments on the music they played and was one of the main highlights for us and our guests. Would highly recommend. Verity at Alive Network was also very very helpful, especially when we were trying to postpone our wedding during the pandemic! We were very lucky to be able to keep The Rips for our new date and felt very confident using both The Rips and Alive Network to book with. ***** 5 stars from a very happy couple!”

“The Rips performed at our wedding in March and what a day it was! They were brilliant across both the acoustic set in the day and their evening set; the dance floor was always full as a result and everyone has commented since on how great and engaging they were. Jamie was also amazing in the lead up and worked with all of requests no problem and made the perfect set list for us. If we had another big event I'd book them again instantly. We can't thank The Rips enough for everything they did on the day and for the amazing atmosphere they created!”

“Utterly Awesome!!! Simply the best band we could have wished for! We cannot give high enough praise or say enough thank yous to these guys, as they truly made our wedding. Fantastic musicians and Jake has the best voice, so that they could play a spectacular range of songs and genres so that our dance floor was full all night long, with all age groups. They played a fabulous acoustic set during our canapés that really got the party started and then on to the main event of full electric band. A real party! Comments from our guests say it all: ‘best band at a wedding I’ve ever heard’, I feel like I’m at the best gig ever’ ‘Awesome band’, ‘best voice’. To top it all, they were an utter joy from beginning to end, with Jamie literally being on call to sort out last minute jitters from our wedding planner - a truly great bunch of lads!! Fantastic stuff guys - thank you!”
