The Spootiskerry Ceilidh Band have an established track record operating as a ceilidh collective providing top quality traditional musicians for corporate and private ceilidh dance events.
They place great importance on the role of their callers and every Spootiskerry line-up features this important individual who helps instruct with the dances and entertains the dancers with some good crack!
Set List
Ceilidh Dances include The Dashing White Sargeant; The Gay Gordons; Orkney; Strip the Willow; Various waltzes; The Virginia Reel; Eightsome Reel; Canadian Barndance; a set of Scottische's; and The Flying Scotsman.
The band also perform various slow airs and assorted jigs and reels in between dances if required...
The band perform various songs throughout our set in order to break things up a bit and to give people a wee breather from the dancing!
