About Rabscallion:
Rabscallion features some of the UKs most experienced and high quality young
musicians on the folk scene today.

Show Description:
As a ceilidh band with a charismatic caller who will get all the audience
on the dancefloor from the word go the onus is on fun! The music features
exciting and addictive grooves propelled by the dynamic rhythmn section
accompanying a plethora of blazing tunes from dual fiddles and the evocative
sound of the irish whistle.

The dances are suitable for all ages and levels of experience. The set will
always be tailored to suit the event from traditional set dances to crazy
barn dance fun! 

The band is also available to break down into smaller cominations, including
soloists, to perfectly augment the traditional atmosphere you'd like to
capture.
 
Available Instruments/Lineups:
Rabscallion's standard 5 piece lineup consists of;

-Fiddles x 2, Cajon Percussion, Double Bass, Guitar & Caller.

For larger/or smaller lineup's, the following instruments are also available;

-Irish Flute, Irish Whistle, Accordion, Trumpet, Saxophone, Keyboards, Electric Guitar, Banjo, Bodhran, Celtic Harp, Tuba.

The above instruments can be booked in any combination (see booking options). However, Rabscallion may recommend a certain combination for your particular event to help conjure the perfect atmosphere from formal Ceilidh to a crazy barndance hoedown!
