Con Alma are a talented saxophone and double bass duo who have a wealth of experience playing at private and corporate functions, weddings, parties and concerts in the UK and further afield. This swinging and soulful duo play with a warm, mellow sound to create a relaxed and sophisticated atmosphere.
Alex and Ashley are both regularly active on the UK jazz scene. Between them, they have performed at numerous venues in the UK and abroad, including Ronnie Scott's, The Purcell Room (Southbank Centre), 606 Club, Brooklyn Bowl, Cambridge Modern Jazz Club, Giardini La Mortella (Ischia), Budapest Jazz Club and Jazz Club de Tunis.
Their musical and logistical flexibility means they are consistently popular with clients, as they are compact and portable but still engaging and entertaining. Con Alma offers a range of options to suit various occasions and budgets, all of which are delivered to the very highest standard. The repertoire and styles range from background music for dinner and drinks receptions to uptempo swing and lively funk.
