Friday 16 June: Get ready for vocal to go viral, as the BBC’s new don’t-miss Saturday night show hits our screens this weekend – featuring our very own aca-awesome artists, Vocally Bespoke!

Pitch Battle is the Beeb’s new primetime singing show, where choirs compete for the approval of an all-star judging cast.

Airing this Saturday at 7.30pm (after Dr Who!), the first episode will see Vocally Bespoke perform for superstar singer Kelis, choir master Gareth Malone, and Brit award-winning singer, Will Young, in a bid to be crowned the UK’s best choir.

Inspired by the popular film Pitch Perfect, the brand new series will feature rival musical groups facing-off against each other.

If you’ve ever seen the brilliant Pitch Perfect movies, you’ll know what to expect: Riff offs, sassy singing battles and cool contemporary choirs with shed loads of style!

It’s fantastic fun – with such a huge amount of talent. We’re so proud to be part of it.

Vocally Bespoke hit all the right notes (groan!) to beat 200 other vocal groups to become just one of 30 acts chosen to appear on the show.

Exclusive to Alive Network, and set to become a household name thanks to the show, Vocally Bespoke have already been gaining a reputation UK-wide for their fresh a cappella ‘spin’ on your favourite pop songs, and making a flash mob-style splash at weddings (a la Love Actually!) and corporate events.
