AFTER MIDNIGHT were formed in 1997 and spent their early days playing local pubs, clubs and private parties. Only two months after their debut performance, After Midnight were personally invited to feature in the highly acclaimed annual Hawth Band Festival which showcases the best local talent from surrounding areas.
Now in their fifth year together, After Midnight are regarded as one of the highest respected Show Bands and can boast having headlined numerous major performances including high profile national events for The British Heart Foundation and The Leukaemia Research Fund held at The Royal Lancaster, London to name but a few.

Rave reviews of After Midnight performances include that published by 'The Stage' national entertainment newspaper;
"After Midnight, an 11-piece soul band blew a storm to start the second half. How rewarding to see so many talented people playing real instruments and they could not fail with 'In The Midnight Hour' as their opener. Superbly attired and exceptional visually, the four vocalists featured a great span of songs from Aretha Franklin to Jailhouse Rock".

Fronted by lead vocalist Kevin Chipol, 24, After Midnight also includes Richard Hughes; a vastly experienced and talented guitarist who includes playing with the hugely successful band 'Easy Cure' in his early days, the group who later went on to become global mega-stars 'The Cure'.

Over their five years of performing, After Midnight have had the privilege to play at every occasion imaginable, from weddings and parties to major festivals and corporate events. In addition to being one of the highest profile and most popular bands in their area, After Midnight are also well respected for their dedication to voluntary performances in aid of charity organisations on both a local and national scale.

After Midnight have a full professional P.A. System, on-stage lighting and offer pre-recorded background music of the same or similar style to the band themselves during meals and breaks, etc. free of charge.
