Super-Cool Party Band Flux Rock Corporate Christmas Party!

Super-cool corporate event band Flux provided Christmas party entertainment back in December 2011. The event, which was coordinated by Compass Group UK, took place on Saturday 3rd December and was held at the Snowdome, Tamworth.

Alive Network's event reporter Kyle Keegan went along on the night to capture Flux band in action…



The Snowdomes ‘Tirol’ suite over looks the slopes and give you the elusion of being in the high up in the Alps.



After Flux and had set up and sound checked there was time for front man Dom and Guitarist Alex to play a quick game of table football.

When Flux took to the stage they kicked of the first set with Franz Ferdinand’s timeless hit ‘Take me out’. The driving and somewhat hypnotic bass line immediately lured a horde of guests to the dance floor.









The addition of Flux’s keyboard player (Lauren) adds an extra dynamic to their performance and broadens the diversity in their repertoire. This extra element sets them apart from the standard four piece Rock and Pop Party Band line-ups.





Some of the guests couldn’t resist the urge to join Dom on stage, momentarily acting as Flux backing singers.





After numerous requests through out the night, Flux appeased the demands of the audience and for the bands final song they blasted out Journey’s ‘Don’t Stop Believing’.



Having been well received and completely rocking the guest’s socks off, Lucy from Compass Group UK quickly booked Flux again to perform another corporate entertainment event on the 2nd March 2012.
