Meet the band
Hannah Speller - Lead vocals
"I can't believe such a big voice came out of such a tiny person!" ... is one of Hannah's frequently heard comments!

A versatile, accomplished and charismatic singer Hannah has trained in many vocal styles whilst performing on stage with rock bands and in Musical theatre for the last decade. Gigs are always well remembered and enjoyed through the high-energy performance she brings to every show.

Hannah is also an actress, and in 2011 has played Barbara in BBC2's 'Dick & Dom's Funny Business', Sally in BBC3's new comedy series 'The Pranker', and in 2012 appeared as Clare in new comedy 'Flash Prank' on MTV.  Hannah has worked with David Jason, Ian Jury, Stephan Dennis, Jim Sturgess and played Josie Duggan in EastEnders.

She delights in her job with iCandy as lead singer and fronting the band. Hannah also enjoys songwriting, dancing and teaches Pilates.

Al - Lead Guitar / vocals
Al is a creative and dynamic guitarist originally trained in Classical & Jazz – alongside this his true roots belong to rock! Being a devoted player for 20 years he has played over 1000 gigs in various originals and covers bands in the UK also playing bass for one of these.
Currently Al is writing and composing his own songs in his studio to build up a catalogue of work… Most recently working on instrumentals in the jazz vibe. “I’m trying out different styles sounds & production… when I do the rock stuff I really get into vocal harmonies which is something iCandy are really good at!” Al provides excellent lead and various backing vocals in iCandy. When Al is not gigging with iCandy he teaches lead guitar and is a member of The Registry of Guitar Tutors.

Rob - Bass / vocals
Rob is the bass player in iCandy. He provides excellent vocals for iCandy with his husky Gallagher-esque voice singing lead vocals and various backing vocals and harmonies therefore giving the band a full and pleasing sound.
He has played in several originals bands in the top live music venues in London and is a prolific and talented songwriter having written several hunderd songs and recorded 5 albums of his own.

Gareth - Drums
Gareth is an exceptional and passionate drummer who is able to play for any occasion. His experience as a drummer spans over 20 years and has been with iCandy since the beginning. He has also enjoyed drumming for originals bands including recording songs and videos.
In addition to the band he is a Drum teacher living and working in Northamptonshire.
iCandy have performed at high profile venues ranging from many Stately Homes to the Marquee Club the Guildhall in Southampton the London Astoria 2 The Roadhouse and the Mean Fiddler.
In addition they have played the most prestigious live music venues in and around London.

The band's equipment
iCandy use a 2600 watt full range PA system to cater for audiences of up to 800 people which provides you with a full and balanced sound. This equipment is suitable for ALL audience sizes from under 100 guests up to a large venue with 800. The band also provide a complete professional lighting display consisting of 8 x LED Par 64 cans with built-in sound-to-light controllers 3 x Prolight LED Colour Burst Up Lighters & 1 x LED flower to light the band and dance floor.

iCandy will dress in smart casual for most occasions always well presented and stylish at the same time! For corporate and black tie events they will dress more formally.

The band's music
Our show consists of 2 or 3 sets (a total of 2 hours) from a wide range of popular rock indie & pop music - from 1950s rock 'n' roll to 60s 70s 80s 90s & 2000s inlcuding artists such as Beatles, Kings of Leon, Lady GaGa, Beyonce, The Killers, Rolling Stones, Michael Jackson, Snow Patrol, Rihanna and many more! Your event
iCandy deliver the highest standard musicianship, with extensive experience of live performance, every one a talented musician in their own right, producing a full and authentic sound.  The band's dynamic female lead singer is backed by three highly skilled musicians on guitar, bass and drums who also provide lead and backing vocals.

The band can provide party & background music to be played before in between and after their live sets on MP3 player/ipod or CD for no extra charge. This will be played through the band's PA system plus the use of the band's dance floor lighting for your party - saving you the hassle of booking a DJ! While this is not a 'manned' service with requests etc. you are welcome to bring your own CDs and MP3 players with you.

iCandy can also provide an acoustic set playing 2 x 30 minutes of acoustic tracks. This booking option is ideal for afternoon drinks receptions or over dinner entertainment. Please see booking options for more details.

If the band's final set finishes before 12 midnight (E.G. 11-11.30pm) music can be provided up to 12midnight (or 1am if you have booked for a 1am finish time extra fee applies). If you are having a 1am finish and extra 30 minutes of live music we can incorporate a discount on the extra fees.

iCandy are also happy to learn a special first dance for no extra charge providing they have at least 4 weeks' notice.
