The Party Has Arrived!
Youngstar formed in 2008 for the annual Rock in the Priory Event in Ware which attracts a 6000 strong audience. Featuring Steve Young & Owen Stephen as the main band members. Their Duo 'The Hertford Boys' have played all over the UK, Australia, Malta and Vietnam to great acclaim. By adding the super tight drums of Philip G and Virtuosi ty of Dave Evans on Bass the result is a band you'll be jumping around to all night.
Steve Young – Guitar & Vocals – Steve plays alongside ex Savage Garden front man Darren Hayes – Touring the world in venues such as The Royal Albert Hall LA - Roxy & The Sydney State Theatre. He has also played for Lionel Richie, Peter Andre, Delta Goodrem & Dane Bowers on shows like TOTP, CD:UK, GMTV, MTV, T4. Don't be surprised to see Steve rocking out on the dance floor mid-solo or pulling up members of the audience to join in.
Owen Stephen – Acoustic Guitar & Vocals – Owen plays in the much loved Herts quartet – The October Game – and has also played along side greats such as Darren Hayes. He is also a successful solo artist in his own right but also plays in Steve's duo act 'The Hertford Boys' on a regular basis.
Philip G - Joins the band on Drums and Dave Evans on Bass Guitar & Vocals.
NB: Steve uses the very best full time professional musicians. They are very much in demand and as a result, particularly on events with shorter lead up times, there may be the rare occasion when one of the regular band members is already booked. This is no cause for alarm as each member has a fully professional deputy to stand in. These deputies are familiar with the song list, look & sound of the band and have proved themselves to meet Steve's high standards in musicianship.
Youngstar offer you an eclectic mix of classic tracks like ‘Summer Of 69’ and ‘Message In A Bottle’. Some contemporary offerings such as a revamp of Flo Riders "Low" plus some Guitar Sparkling Heroics such as ‘Plug in Baby’ by Muse and ‘Sweet Child O Mine’ by Gun's & Roses. The band are aimed at a younger rocking crowd but have plenty of song choices to make the night exactly right whatever the occasion.

Your Event
Youngstar can offer a choice of dynamic performance from using just acoustic guitars with light drums to the full electric power pop gig. This doesn't have to be decided in advance - the band can adjust as the event progresses to suit your guests perfectly.
The band are fully self contained with a Pro Mackie PA System, lights, fog and various things for the audience to ‘Shake" on stage with them.
The sets for the band are split in to a 45 min acoustic set followed by a 60 min rock/party set with encore if required. This is a formula that the band have found works the best.
