Southampton based ceilidh and barn dance band Woodsiders are the band for your event. We have experience in entertaining at all types of function - club/company socials wedding receptions fund raisers etc. You want a fun evening that all will enjoy and a barn dance is a great way to provide it. Our caller will guide your guests through the dances with the emphasis being on fun. Woodsiders play a mixture of English Irish Scottish and American styles of music and have played in venues both small and large - village halls with under a 100 guests to the Bournemouth International Centre for 2,000+ and we have been on the scene since 1992. Our main band line-up is Mike on accordion, Colin on acoustic guitar, and Luke on percussion, plus our caller. We have a number of musicians who guest for us if any of our regular band members are unavailable, or if a larger band is required.

"Thank you all so much for a fantastic evening to celebrate the 18th Birthday of our son, Joe. We all had a brilliant time - you allowed me to relax (well, once we'd found the bread knife!) and dance with all our guests and leave the music and organisation to you. Joe was delighted with it all - his friends all said it was the best party ever - and the family really enjoyed the mix of ages. Success!! Thanks again - we will recommend you to everyone!"
