With a history spanning over 20 years in the music industry Tony Mitchell started out at the tender age of 14 writing and performing his own songs as well as covers in local pubs and clubs. He has since performed solo and with a number of bands playing a wide variety of musical styles around the UK Europe and America winning many admirers with his unique vocal sound.
Since being invited to perform a number of swing concerts with Stars In Their Eyes finalist Steven Triffit and the Simon Currie Big Band Tony has been concentrating on building an extensive repertoire of classic and contemporary swing songs covering artists including Frank Sinatra Dean Martin Bobby Darin and Michael Buble.
As well as two summer seasons at Butlins fronting a 13 piece soul band and three seasons at the prestigious Badrutts Palace Hotel in St Moritz, Tony has performed at many prestigious events including three appearances at the Glastonbury festival, Manhattans famous Wah club and has entertained the rich and famous including the King & Queen of Sweden, Abba’s Frida and many of Europe’s elite at the exclusive Corviglia Club in St Moritz. Tony has also performed as support for a variety of well known artists and bands including Edwin Starr, David Essex, Slade, Bad Manners and Racey.

"I chose Tony based on his amazing sound clip that I found online and he did not disappoint in real life – his voice was incredible and not only that, he was very flexible and accommodating to our needs and nothing was too much on the evening – it felt like we had a friend singing for us!
Tony was professional in his approach, set up and delivery of the evening and he also bought charm and character which resulted in many of our guests complimenting our singer.
It gave me confidence booking with Alive Network as they were efficient, proactive and very friendly to deal with. Claire was happy to respond quickly to all my questions and was a pleasure to deal with on the phone.
Overall, a great experience that I am happy to advocate to anyone that will listen!
