It doesn’t often happen, and that’s putting it mildly. When was the last time a bundle of youthful energy, polished musicianship and originality like Tipitina landed on the mat unannounced? It’s quite disconcerting.
‘Where did this suddenly come from?’ you ask. The prosaic reply is Preston, Lancs, but the real answer is New Orleans and a few other hot spots along the way; from juke joints and dance halls, warm nights and windy streets, good times remembered and a few bad moments best forgotten.

"You will not regret booking this band - they are fantastic. I hold them with high regard. I am at an age where I have been to many, many weddings and am one of a cohort of a large group of uni mates who has got married later than others...I may be biased as it was my wedding however I think they were the best band at a wedding I have seen yet.
We would like to see them play again not at a wedding function...as in if they play near Leeds I think we will go and watch / dance to them. We are very satisfied customers.

"Alive Network were fast, helpful and faultlessly professional.
As for Tipitina - they were extraordinary. They almost blew the house down (or tent, rather). They really set the floor alight, all the guests were running out of superlatives. They've found some long-term fans among our friends I think.
Their fantastic sound aside, they are also lovely, easy-going people - which made the whole thing that much easier and even more enjoyable.
