The Rips were absolutely incredible. They played an amazing set list and had everyone dancing from the very beginning to the very end.
The boys were incredibly professional and were very easy to deal with before our big day and I felt so at ease that they knew what they were doing and would ensure a good night was had by us all.
I cannot thank them enough for an incredible evening party and all of our guests are still commenting on how good they were.

The Rips are experts at keeping any dance floor full with a set list to suit all. This five piece perform everything from 50’s and 60’s classics right through to today’s very latest hits. Expect to hear music from Chuck Berry, The Beatles, Queen, The Rolling Stones, Kings Of Leon, The Kaiser Chiefs, Katy Perry, Mumford and Sons, The Zutons, Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga and much more!
Previous Experience All five members of The Rips are highly accomplished musicians. Previous experience has seen the band performing worldwide with touring theatre productions such as Vampires Rock and Bat The Symphony.
The Rips have also performed at Liverpool’s Echo Arena, Nottingham Arena, The Edinburgh Playhouse, Manchester Palace, Birmingham’s NEC plus a number of prestigious venues in the USA, Spain, Denmark and Ireland. Other highlights include performances at celebrity charity events for Loose Women, Coronation Street and television appearances on SKY TV, The Paul O’Grady Show and BBC World News 24.
Your Event The Rips are extremely flexible and happy to do whatever they can to suit the needs of your event.
The band usually performs 2 x 60 minute sets but other options can be discussed with your Alive Network booking agent if requested. The Rips can also tailor their look for formal events or can dress more casually if you’d prefer.
Extremely adaptable, The Rips can perform in a range of venues and will always adjust their volume levels to meet your requirements. Background music (from an iPod) between sets will also be provided.
No gig is too big or too small and The Rips are willing to travel UK wide and internationally!
Does your venue have a Volume Limiter? The Rips have a top-of-the-range Roland TD-20KX electronic drum kit that they can use whenever your venue has had a volume limit imposed upon it.

"We booked The Rips for are charity fundraiser 'the Goodlife orphanage in Kenya'.
They were fantastic, totally professional & the dance floor was full from the minute they started playing to the end. We can't thank them enough as we had a charity auction we went over time and they were great.
If anyone wants to guarantee a great night just book The Rips. We have booked them for the next event in December!"

"I just want to send a thankyou message on behalf of myself and my wife, we booked the Rips for our wedding on the 20th October.
They we're absolutely fantastic and we're everything we we're hoping for and more! They had the dancefloor packed all night and our guest's absolutely loved them!
Not only that, but each one of them was really friendly and they seemed happy to be there and perform for us with passion and enthusiasm.

"I found the website very easy to navigate and all my queries were responded to quickly and fully and in a friendly manner.
The Rips were on time and friendly and played some great music, particularly for their second set. Everyone agreed that they were a really talented band. Perhaps more importantly, it was clear that they were having a good time themselves."

With many other suppliers to manage during my wedding preparations, I am pleased that Alive Network took all the hassle out of booking and arranging my evening entertainment. The Alive Network team ensured that the band had everything they required for the day and made sure the finer detail was dealt with in advance which meant I could concentrate on the big day itself.
The Rips provided a first class and unrivalled performance for my wedding – an extremely talented set of guys. They suggested a tried and tested playlist they knew works to cater for everyone’s tastes but were flexible to include some of my preferred tunes. The play-list certainly delivered and my guests young, old and older enjoyed every minute with an unbelievable atmosphere. They were exceptionally professional throughout the entire process and ensured everything on the day was considered well in advance. I can’t recommend these guys enough.
