There is a good reason why people refer to the Red Stripe Band as "Jools Holland on speed".

They have developed an energetic and entertaining stage show since the band was formed over 15 years ago. The seven piece line up is as follows:

*Red Stripe on vocals and piano
*A lively three piece brass section (tenor and baritone sax and trumpet)
*"Stars in Their Eyes Finalist" Gemma Nelson on vocals
*and a rock steady rhythm section

Don’t expect to hear everything from Abba to Robbie Williams!

You will get good time party music and a fun entertaining show with on and off stage antics which will have your guests up dancing and getting down. The show is delivered just like Jools Holland using foot stomping boogie woogie swing jive ska and rock and roll which makes for a truly memorable event.

They have a lovely baritone sax player in the shape of Erica Clarke – you can’t keep her on the stage once she starts to blow her horn! Martin Gray on tenor sax will also come among the dancers! You will also see Red Stripe – strapping on his Keytar to dance with the rest – he can’t be left out.

The lovely Gemma Nelson on vocals will also be getting down.

The Red Stripe Band brings the party to the audience in all senses of the word.

They have taken their show to clubs parties and festivals all over the world from Paris to Monte Carlo and New York to Tokyo including the famous Montreux Jazz Festival.
