Leroy
Born 1951 in New York State, moving to England in 1956, Leroy did not have much say in the matter, this was his parents decision. Coming from a musical background, his father an accomplished guitarist who was renowned for playing in bands throughout the U.S.A.
Now settled in Britain and with over 35 years in the music business his soulful but velvet vocal talents stay true of his great mentor the late Johnny Moore.
Leroy has worked with the very best the music industry has to offer. His accolades include performing with Dionne Warwick at the London Palladium for a weeks show providing vocal support.
Leroy also toured with the legendary Ben E King for three months taking in Germany, Holland and many other parts of Europe. Following this tour Leroy along with Ben E King, Billy Lewis and the late Tony Jackson enjoyed success with The Motown Show in numerous countries.
Stevie
Born in the UK Stevie is the youngster of the group and is an accomplished singer/song writer in his own right.
Following in the footsteps of his mentors, Gillie Leroy Jones and the late Lewis J Jackson, Stevie soon proved his youthful approach added something special to the group.
Stevie’s falsetto vocal range is well suited to the music of The Drifters and Motown, his renditions of Just My Imagination and the Sweetest Feeling show Stevie’s vocal talents at there best.
Stevie has had success as a solo vocalist and his smooth tones are often used in voice over’s and other studio projects.
Milton
Born in Norfolk, Virginia in the late 50’s. Milton toured Israel, Europe and Lanzarote with Pop, Soul, and Gospel Singing Acts including Boney M, The Sounds of the Drifters (Tribute Band), The Ray Lewis Drifters and
The Motown Singers.
Milton has also had success in the studio providing his vocal skills for TV and the movies including The Jools Holland Show, BBC Documentary "Race Hate in Louisiana”.
His Movie Sound Tracks include: "Gone in Sixty Seconds", "L'Etincelle", Cheech and Chong's "Still smoking", The Sopranos TV Series and The Simpsons Cartoon Series…
Newton
Known affectingly within the group as Mr Slick, songwriter, singer and musician.
Newton has performed with a number of groups including The Four Tops, The American Drifters, The Temptations, The Platters and Alexander O’Neal.
As a performer, Newton’s intentions are to entertain, touch, uplift, encourage, and share love through artistic expression. Newton is also a trained actor and has appeared in a number of short films, plays and numerous TV commercials.
Newton is also a Salsa dance teacher and performer and was the UK Salsa dance champion, so when you see the guys shake their thang on stage, Newton’s the man responsible for The Motown Show's choreography!!
