The Ellison duo is well established (1995) offering an extensive and flexible repertoire of enchanting and versatile music for all occasions. This ranges from classical to jazz and includes personal arrangements of today’s popular music.
As talented and accomplished soloist chamber and orchestral musicians they have a vast history that includes performances before Royalty at Kensington Palace, Royal Ascot, Hampton Court, Mansion House and the Guildhall. They are regular performers at celebrity attended gala and charity events at venues like Café Royal, the Wallace Collection and Various London hotels that include the Dorchester, Hilton Park Lane, the Landmark and the Grosvenor. They are also much sought after for private functions at exclusive locations within Pennyhill Park, St George’s Hill, Weybridge and the Wentworth Estate.
Meet The Duo Susan Susan received a first class honours degree at Trinity College of Music, London, where she also won five awards that enabled her to continue postgraduate studies at the Royal College of Music. Many more awards followed for her solo and chamber work and she is now a successful session musician working in TV and Radio.
Susan enjoys a busy freelance career, performing regular solo recitals in and around London while continuing her work with chamber ensembles countrywide. Venues have included St Martin in the Fields and 10 Downing Street in the presence of the Prime Minister. Her numerous concerto performances include a recent performance at the Royal Festival Hall and her orchestral work has enabled her to tour worldwide.
Elizabeth Elizabeth won a scholarship to study at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama and then at Trinity College of Music, London. While in Glasgow, she played with the Scottish National Orchestra and in many theatrical events annually at the Edinburgh Festival.
Her orchestral work has included performances at the Royal Festival Hall, the Royal Opera House, the Barbican Centre, St John’s Smith Square and the Royal Albert Hall. She continues to play regularly with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, including their Radio and CD recordings.
Elizabeth is also an accomplished musical arranger for genres from classical to jazz with various instrument combinations. This brings a unique depth to the duo’s repertoire.

"Nick from Alive Network made the booking easy, and everything was clear and well-organised. The artists contacted us before the wedding as we were advised, and they had good advice regarding our music choices for the wedding ceremony.
When it came to the day, everything went like clockwork. The Ellison Duo arrived promptly, set up, and entertained the guests before I arrived. The music was beautiful and made the ceremony very special.
After the ceremony, the duo moved to the hotel and set up to play during the meal. The music was sublime and all the guests commented on their wonderful playing and how they had added to the whole occasion.
I have no hesitation in enthusiastically recommending Alive Network and The Ellison Duo. "

"I was so happy with all the service I got from Alive Network. They made me feel at ease from the first phone call and I felt I new that I was going to get a good service and I got better service than I ever expected.
The Ellison Duo were amazing and I would tell anyone to have them at there wedding. They were outstanding, all the guests said how lovely it was to have them there and they also looked amazing which I think was lovely to have 2 beautiful women playing such beautiful romantic music, it made all my guests cry.

"The word professionalism is used often these days and perhaps loses its strength, but I would just like to say that both the Alive Network and the ladies of the Ellison Duo were indeed fantastic, quickly removing any concerns I may have had about booking over the internet.

"Alive network are most professional. They reply promptly to any queries on phone or by email. They try to suggest appropriate artists within the specified budget. We would certailny deal with them again.
The Ellison Duo were absolutely wonderful. They are two charming girls who provided a wonderful mixture of music on the harp and flute. They played the type of music we wanted , remained in the background yet gave tremendous enjoyment to all our guests. We would love to have them for another event.
