The Effect are a young, cool and extremely talented 4-piece band ready to entertain at any occasion. They play a wide variety of party music, from 50's/60's Rock 'n' roll to the most recent chart hits.
The Effect provide a show that will keep people on the dance floor all night. They always interact with the crowd and are experts at creating a warm, fun and friendly atmosphere.
They use the latest PA equipment giving them a very professional and clean sound, suitable for venues ranging from 50 to 400 capacity. The Effects also use a top class light show to wow the audience and are also able to meet sound and lighting requirements for larger events of over 400 if necessary.
Over the past 7 years The Effect have played corporate events, parties and wedding receptions at venues all over the UK including the o2 and the National Science museum. They are now one of the most sought after live function bands around today.
A little bit about The Effect The Effect came together seven years ago. During that time, the original two members, Adam and Anthony, had some success with their own originals band reaching number 35 in the UK chart in 2007. Other notable feats include playing live on Janice Longs Radio 2 show, a live session on Kerrang Radio and in 2009, a number 7 position in the UK indie chart.
Previous members have also seen some success after former drummer, Adam F, went on to join The Babyshambles in 2005. His replacement, Joe, is currently touring the world with 70's rock band, Wishbone Ash.
Today, The Effect consists of Adam on lead vocals and guitars, Anthony on Piano/Keyboards, Tom on Bass and John on Drums.
Previous Clients & Venues Since forming in 2003, The Effect have played at venues all over the UK from the famous 02 arena and National Science Museum in London to Alnwick Castle in Northumberland. The band can accomodate any size venue from a small bar to a large function room.
The Effect have played for a number of corporate clients including Deloitte, Emap, Tesco, DHL and even royalty on two occasions.
