About Tequila Amigos
Tequila Amigos are a very unique band. Although the band's instrumentation and sound is very traditional (using the 'Mariachi style' duo trumpets acoustic guitars and marimba), they specializes in playing a more wider and varied range of popular Latin style dance music to cater for all musical tastes.
The band members are multi-instrumental and very versatile. All music played is exclusively arranged for their particular 'line-up', allowing for instrument changes and performance interest as the show progresses - the main comment the band get from their audiences is that "they sound like eight musicians instead of three!"

Tequila Amigos have performed nationwide in a variety of venues from large to small, these include - festivals, weddings, birthdays, corporate events, functions, product launches, holiday camps, theme nights, cocktail parties, garden parties (where they roam around playing tunes such as ‘Tequila’ and ‘Mexican Hat Dance’ etc…, clubs to full blown party events..
Tequila Amigos normally perform two, three quarter of an hour sets. The first ‘set’ will be more Mexican / Spanish in style and the second ‘set’ will have more contemporary Latin numbers. Each piece is essentially a medley (with acoustic bass and percussion backing tracks) of up to four songs allowing for tempo and mood changes. Whatever they play, they always have the audience up and dancing.
If you're looking for a band that not only looks and sounds great - but is guaranteed to get the audience 'up and dancing', then Tequila Amigos are a great choice for your event.

Hi Paul,
The entertainment was absolutely superb - Joe the pianist was fantastic and really set the atmosphere as our guests arrived. The Tequila Amigos and Richard Budding were very patient as our meal & speeches ran an hour behind schedule but they soon had things up and running. The Tequila Amigos were excellent and I had a lot of compliments about how different they are to the usual bands you find at weddings - they really set the mood for the rest of the evening. As for Richard - he was very friendly and accommodating to our every need. I can't fault any of your artists - each of them were very professional and I would definitely recommend them.
Thank you for your help too in helping it all come together!

Yes Sunset Duo did a fantastic job and we are glad we picked them.
They were brilliant - they played two great sets with a range of songs that suited our guests of various ages, and were happy to accommodate personal song requests. The duo were very friendly and put on a great show for all our guests and we got lots of positive feedback. We would highly recommend these guys.

Our Wedding Party went really well thank you.
Just wanted to say that The Tequila Amigos where absolutely brilliant and everyone we spoke to thought the same.
They were very professional, friendly and a put on a highly polished, very enjoyable performance. Their costumes were superb too! If you could pass on our thanks that would be great, although if I can find Nick's phone number, we will give them a call personally.
We would also like to say how pleased we were with the service that yourself and Alive Network delivered. It really does make a pleasant surprise to find that there are still a few companies out there, that do actually deliver what they say they will! Just having someone who calls you back when they say they will and sorting out all the details for you as promised makes such a difference, especially when you are trying to organise so many other things at the same time.
So, thanks again for all your help. Our wedding party wouldn't have been the same without you! We would be more than happy to recommend your services to anyone thinking of hiring a band in the future.

My 30th birthday party went with a huge bang and Tequila Amigos can certainly take the credit for that - they were absolutely fantastic. Everyone at the party commented on how good they were - they played great range of music that was just right for the occasion (any occasion really if you want a good time!) & they created a real party atmosphere. The blend of traditional mariarchi music and medleys of popular party songs was certainly unique but worked perfectly and appealed to everyone there, with an age range of early 20s-60s!
I found the experience of dealing with your company and the band extremely professional and easy - the ordering & email process leading up to the event was straightforward, and Nick from Tequila Amigos contacted me twice beforehand to dot the Is & cross the Ts which was incredibly reassuring. He was really accommodating to any requests I had, bringing lighting and sombreros to decorate the room and allowing me to bring an Ipod to set up with their equipment to play in between sets. They even worked with my Quentin Tarantino fancy dress theme, playing the theme tune from Pulp Fiction in their set - a really nice touch.
I have already recommended the band & would definitely recommend Alive Network in future, and will contact you in future should I be arranging any more events.

We would both like to thank the Tequila Amigo's for a fantastic performance at our wedding, they really were great. Their choice of music was spot-on and their costumes were very original !! Even a number of weeks later our friends are still talking about them.
