Take One is a Staffordshire-based Jazz and Easy Listening show playing standards and unique arrangements of Latin, Swing & Contemporary Jazz.

Featuring the superbly versatile and sultry voice of Sarah, an accomplished, gifted and experienced musician, Take One guarantees to bring style, sophistication and elegance to your occasion.   

Take One provides the ideal backdrop to any social event e.g cocktail parties, weddings, restaurants and drinks receptions. With an extensive and always expanding play-list, Sarah will engage the audience and adapt her show to suit the mood of your event exactly.

If required, Take One can also perform a Pop Set later for dancing the night away and specific songs can be added for a small extra fee. Background music (from an iPod playlist) can also be provided between sets to maintain the mood of the event.

Previous Experience
Sarah started her professional career at seventeen when she recorded her first session with the Climax Blues Band. Having caught the bug, she joined her first band (signed to Chrysalis), a few months later widely touring the UK. 

Sarah's versatile voice and extensive range has secured her place on many popular recordings including sessions for Candy Flip, Altern8, The Lotus Eaters, Pete Wylie and the Mighty Wah, and members of Simply Red. She appeared on Oceanic’s number two hit ‘Insanity’ and the Christians' latest album, ‘Prodigal Sons’. She has recently provided backing vocals for Tony Christie, Kevin Rowland (Dexy’s Midnight Runners), and her recent recording credits include a featured vocal on the Robbie Williams track ‘Break America’.

In addition to her performing career, Sarah also teaches Pop, Rock & Jazz vocals at MMU Cheshire.
