"Great gig, thank you so much. I chose well! Your energy was soaked up by us all at my 50th party and culminated in a fantastic feel good finale on the dance floor.
‘One more song’ was the call from my nephew and all of us would have savoured more time, but we ended on a high and that’s all I could ask for.
I’ve had great feedback on you, and obviously will see if you are available for any future family events!

Fronting Sophie and the Exciters is Sophie, a well established and highly respected UK based singer. She was the very first artist to perform on the main stage at London's O2 arena and has supported The Sugababes, McFly and Will Young. She has performed at hundreds of festivals and clubs throughout the UK, Europe and The Middle East, picking up The Perrier Young Jazz Vocalist of the Year award along the way. Along with countless radio and television appearances, Sophie also writes music for film and has released 3 albums to critical acclaim. She is currently recording her fourth a solo album of self penned songs.
Sophie and the Exciters consists of a collective of highly experienced musicians hand picked by Sophie. Their biographies read like a Who's Who of the music industry. They've performed at shows all around the world including headline appearances at major music festivals throughout Europe and the United States and have played with the likes of Beverly Knight, Mica Paris, Rod Stewart, Genesis, Jethro Tull, Rick Wakeman and Georgie Fame.
Sophie and the Exciters are happy to learn your first dance at no extra charge if it is not something included in their set list and providing it is suitable for the band to perform.
Sophie and the Exciters supply stage lighting and a PA system as standard for all events. This caters for venues that take up to 350 people.
IPOD music is available on request at no additional fee to be played in between sets and can either be provided by Sophie and the Exciters or if you prefer to pick music of your choice the band are happy to run your IPOD through their system.

"We would like to say a big THANK YOU for the excellent music and service provided by Sophie and the Exciters. Especially thank you for letting us customise your set. The booking was easy, the music was exceptional and the band were professional and easy to work with.
We had an overall brilliant day, and I think having the music all night from 6pm until the end was a key part of that. Thanks for doing such a long set for us."

"After not having much luck finding the perfect band for our wedding, we came across Alive Network. They were so incredibly helpful in suggesting some bands and one fit the bill perfectly (Sophie and the Exciters).
Despite initial doubts about using an agency, their recommendations and the comments about the band convinced us it was worth the money.
Alive Network's communication and help prior to the wedding was absolutely fautless and soon put our mind to rest about the booking.
Chatting to Sophie (Sophie and the Exciters lead singer) in the run up to the big day, made me so excited to hear them play, she knew exactly what we were after.
Hearing them on the night was better than anything we could have imagined, it was like a very intimate concert and by the end of the night, every person was on the dance floor; we did not leave it all night! "

"Both Alive Network and Sophie and the Exciters are true professionals. They were all helpful and friendly at every step of the way. When organising a wedding, you don't want anything to go wrong and you don't want to have to worry about anything on the day. Everyone involved made this possible.
The band were amazing, knew exactly how to pitch the mood to the crowd and are just thoroughly nice people, which is incredibly important. I cannot effuse enough. Thank you so much.

"Sophie and the Exciters - NOT YOUR AVERAGE WEDDING BAND! They were terrific!
My husband and I were blown away - along with friends and family we danced like lunatics all night. They are SO better live than on the audio snippets from the website - Sophie breathes new life into old classics and makes them her own. She was so warm and friendly and still professional.
After a bad experience with another booking service, Alive Network were really great to deal with.

"Dear Alive Network,
I wanted to write and tell you how special it was to have Sophie sing and her band play for us at our wedding.
In my experience I've never been too sure about wedding bands...of all the weddings I've been to the band has been quite overbearing and dare I say it cheesy. Sophie and the Exciters couldn't be further from that description. Vocally and instrumentally they have so much class, sophistication, soul, sex appeal. Their vibe is infectious. Every single one of my guests said they had never heard such a funky and soulful band at a wedding. As I said, no one could leave the dance floor.
Your website had the most variety of groups. Also being able to listen the band on line was a huge plus. It made my decision so easy. Sophie and the Exciters had by far the best choice of songs and Sophie has the most honest soulful voice I have ever heard. As I said she's in a league of her own.
Sophie's voice is so strong, rich and sexy...and she made the night incredible. The English are always a bit shy to dance but her voice and music is infectious and by the end everyone was in front of her dancing. She was great, and I felt strongly that she and her band were all very much part of our wedding.
