Rose is a phenomenal saxophone player who is ideal to hire for slick sophisticated background music at weddings corporate events and parties. Her repertoire covers jazz funky jazz freestyle pop soul & blues played on tenor sax over high quality backing tracks.
Rose's experience and versatility have achieved her hours of radio play and she has performed with many stars including Angie Brown John Fitz, Snake Davis, Gail Thompson and also the Ministry of Sound, to name but a few!
With jazz songs ranging from all time classics such as Etta James to Harry Connick Jr or modern/pop from Diane Warwick to Enrique Iglesias, Rose will tailor her performance to suit any occasion, making sure that everybody’s feeling the groove.
Highlights of Rose’s career so far include: * Diploma in Jazz & music studies * Many TV & Radio appearances (including performing in the resident band on ‘G-Spot’, a talk show hosted by Terry Christian and Danni Hunt) * Toured the UK and was lead tenor sax for Gail Thompson’s Noir Femmes * Supported The Body Rockers (currently in the UK chart) * Played at Manchester Jazz festival * Played at the 2007 Miss Black Britain awards * Plays regularly for and is broadcast by Galaxy102 * Played at many hotels, corporate events, weddings, festivals and has a string of regular solo/supporting acts at some of the UK’s top night clubs * Selected to attend legendary saxophonist ‘Snake Davis’’ master classes * Currently freestyles with ‘Bak2Luv’ - Ministry of Sound DJs * Performing at the launch of Marco Pierre White's new restaurant in Livepool
