Talented and versatile musician Sandra will make any event a success - weddings, dinners, cocktail receptions, corporate and public events. You will hear a selection of songs evoking nostalgic glimpses of a more glamorous past from composers such as Gershwin, Porter and Berlin; to Sinatra and the Rat Pack years, played with style and sophistication.
A sought after accompanist, Sandra has worked with amongst others, Humphrey Lyttleton, the London Symphony Orchestra and was, throughout the 1990's, Musical Director to Helen Shapiro, with whom she toured extensively, recorded CD's, appeared on television and penned the musical arrangements to Helen’s one woman show. Sandra continues to work as a “sideman” with Britain's top bands and orchestras and regularly plays with Britain’s top jazz musicians. Her debut album "Too Late Now", in collaboration with Mike Eaves was released in 2002.
Born into a musical family in Upminster, Essex, Sandra began piano lessons at the age of 6. She later studied in both London and the United States with a number of leading international musicians. Sandra has played at Britain's most prestigious venues including the Royal Festival Hall, Royal Albert Hall, Birmingham's Symphony Hall, and performed on the Millennium Eve with her own trio at London's internationally renowned Waldorf Hotel.

"We were extremely pleased with the pianist, Sandra Lardner, who played jazz and easy listening throughout the Wedding diner. She was very unobtrusive and really enhanced the atmosphere of our wedding dinner. I only wish we had asked her to play on a bit longer as the dinner over ran somewhat and the last part of the meal was then unaccompanied by her music.
We are so very pleased that we decided to choose live music throughout our wedding and both artists really did make a huge difference to our day, it was perfect.
Thank you once again, and we would not fail to recommend the Alive Network or these artists to any of our friends and family.
