SambaAfro are a 4 piece band paying homage to the great names of Afro Brazilian Jazz, Samba and Bossa Nova. Available to perform at your Ceremony, Drinks Party or light accompaniment during your wedding Reception; SambaAfro members are versatile and ensure the finest musicianship.
With a repertoire that encompasses classic Bossa Nova, MPB (Musica Popular Brasileira), Samba, Choro, Forró, Baiao & Maracatu, SambaAfro can tailor their performance to offer songs that will suit the moods and tastes of all your guests.
Fronted by Brazilian born Pilo, the group comprises of seasoned musicians from Mozambique, Brazil and the UK, and are available in a range of line-ups from a Duo to a 7 piece band.
The perfect entertainment for any party, corporate event or weddings; SambaAfro's unique sound will create an air of sophistication to help make your big day just a little bit more special.

“For me, SambaAfro are one of the finest Brazilian bands in the UK today. They have the perfect mix of all the best Brazilian music past and present - Brazilian Jazz, Samba Rock, Bossa Nova and MPB (Musica Popular Brasileira). In Pilo, they have a great singer in the tradition of Jorge Ben, Caetano Veloso, Chico Buarque and Edu Lobo. Not only is he a great musician but also a young Brasileiro who knows and loves his musical heritage. With the addition of virtuoso African drummer Elias driving the band, the rhythm section locked down by jazz musicians Aron (piano) and Alex (bass), they are the perfect hard-hitting but also soulful small Brazilian combo. Ideal for big festival stages and small intimate nightclubs. I have booked them in the past for both and they have never come up short. Definitely worth checking out if you love Brazilian music.”
