Rhythm 'n' Groove began in 2008 between six diverse musicians with a desire to create a function band that met the highest and affordable standards. They met due to sharing a passion in funk soul rock and pop whilst studying a degree in popular music at the Leeds college of Music. Seb and Lorna the two virtuosic vocalists share out the set delivering a highly energetic and impressive performance aiming to get all ages on the dance floor.
The band have many years of varied playing and studio experience between them including touring the UK and Europe Sessions for Studio Live TV and Radio and even playing for the last remaining 'Drifter'. All members studied performance modules at the Leeds College of Music gaining high-class grades.

"Suzy and I just wanted to say a huge thank you to you all for such a fantastic performance at our Wedding Reception on Friday. You really made the night and finished off a truly amazing day for us. We had so many guests asking how we found you and complementing on how good you were.
As we said at the end of the night, you are obviously very talented musicians but not only that; also incredibly professional and really really nice guys!

"Just a quick message before we go off on honeymoon but wanted to say what a fabulous night we all had! You guys were fantastic and all of our guests were very impressed! Although you probably knew that already by the fact we all danced all night! I think we needed a bigger dance floor!
Please pass on another great big thank you to the rest of the band for us, the first dance acoustic was amazing!! Could not have asked for it to be anymore perfect!

"Thanks for doing such a great job at our wedding. You really made the night! We've been to a fair number of weddings but have never seen so many guests get up so quickly on the dance floor and 'Shake it!'

We just wanted to say a great big thank you for doing such an amazing job of entertaining us and our guests on our wedding day. The music while we were having canapes was fantastic and just perfect, and loads of people have said how much fun they had on the dance floor because of you lot :)
We're so glad you could come all the way from Leeds for our wedding, it was such a good vibe in the evening and that was definitely mainly down to you guys.
Also I was so impressed with your performance of some kind of wonderful for our first dance....it was absolutely perfect and will be a memory that I will never forget, thank you so so much.

"Thank you to Rhythm and Grove for a fantastic set the other night.
Their range of music, and Talent was second to none. The dance floor was packed all night long
The band where very professional and very helpful and tailored their music to fit our requirements, nothing was too much hassle.
A big thank you to James who went over and above to help to make the night such a huge success.
Guests at the event have given excellent comments on the band since the event and a few have even asked for their details- a testament to how good they where.
I would really recommend them and will be sure to use them again in the future.
