They were very professional and really got the party started, playing a mix of recent songs and old favourites. So many of our guests commented on how great the band was, even the venue wanted their details! The band was one area we were a little apprehensive about initially - we knew we wanted a great band, but didn't know where to start. You made the whole process very straightforward, and gave us every confidence from the initial contact. What a fantastic band Revolution 9 are! Andy got in touch beforehand to run through what we wanted, and everything went like clockwork on the day. Great guys, and great at what they do! One of the reasons we chose them was their play list - we loved their music, and were sure our guests would too - and we weren't disappointed! Many of our guests asked where we'd found them, and they made sure the dance floor was full all night - they even managed to get me on the dance floor, which, believe me, is no mean feat!! A perfect end to an unforgettable weekend! If anyone looking for a great party band is a little apprehensive, as we were, go with Revolution 9 and just relax - you won't be disappointed! Mary and I had an amazing day, and actually had blue skies and hot weather to make it even better. Everything went absolutley perfectly and that included the evening entertainment! The band worked really well to be ready for the first dance and performed all of their sets fantastically. Something Mary and I had decided was that for the evening to go well we had to have amazing music and Revolution 9 produced that for us without a shadow of a doubt. The mix of music kept everyone up for it and the selection of what to play when meant that in none of the sets was there at any point a lack of dancing. Effectively, from 7pm until 12.30pm the dance floor was packed. A true sign of great music and a great band! The CD support music in between sets also saved us a lot of hassle and again was a brilliant selection and kept people on the dance floor, and the feedback from our guests was great!! Our request was made at short notice due to us being let down by another company, and we were very impressed by the service you provided. Within days, we had all the details sorted out with the band and we have to thank you for your dedication and hard work in arranging this - especially as the band had to come up to Edinburgh! And the band? Well, they were truly outstanding. We are really into our music and had found it so difficult to find a band that would meet our expectations, but Revolution 9 quite simply surpassed them! Before the wedding, Andy even gave us a call to get to know our music taste and to get a feeling for what our wedding would be like. He had no problem in accommodating a request for a 'family favourite' and we could tell on the night that the band had put a lot of time and effort into perfecting the song just for us! The band played a fantastic selection of songs, with not a note out of place. Each member of the band was excellent and the sound quality was superb. We had so many wonderful compliments from our guests and we danced all night long! The song for our family was a definite show-stopper and will be a talking point and fond memory forever. They were brilliant fun, their music was fab and they were just really cool guys to have around. I know everyone says the dancefloor was packed all night.. but ours really was..with a lot of ridiculous moves caught on camera. They carried on past their allotted time and let one of our best mates do a song with their guitar, backed up by the rest of the band. Basically, they rock. And if anyone's nervous about booking a band, then these guys are a seriously safe bet, for parents and mates.
