Thank you for playing so beautifully at our wedding last month. We had an incredible day and the music certainly helped make it so special. We were very impressed with all the music, both in the afternoon and on the dance floor in the evening.
We had lots of comments from our guests about how good the band were and everyone enjoyed a good dance eight to the end!

Pop Reaction's mission is to break the clichés surrounding function bands delivering a relentless entertainment feast of non-stop live music; an eclectic journey from smooth soul and Motown to funkadelic disco from classic rock to contemporary pop. All delivered with unremitting style and genuine enthusiasm. We love to play.
Our rates are less than you might think and you get more than you might think. We offer a complimentary disco (song requests in advance) and bespoke set to suit any event and come complete with a top of the range sound and lighting equipment to suit any occasion (weddings corporate event parties etc.)
Nicola Henderson Our very own diva. Nic has a voice which is both soulful and powerfully expressive. Nicola graduated in Drama and Theatre Arts at Birmingham University. A massive fan of musical theatre Nic is no stranger to the theatrical stage and has performed in lead roles in productions including Trojan Woman and Titanic and has performed songs from Smokey Joe's Café Les Miserables Miss Saigon Martin Guerre The Phantom of the Opera and many more.
Like all good divas Nic performs best when treated to a bottle of champagne and a bed of roses!
Philip Hatch Our keyboard player wind player and backing vocalist; Phil is a man of many talents (cooking isn't one of them!!) Classically trained in the Oboe and Piano he has performed with the well known XBY Orchestra on several occasions as well as other local orchestras and solo concerts.
Philip also sings bass in the London Concert Choir performing annually at the Royal Albert Hall.
The tech-head in the group Phil is responsible for all things clever and electric in the band set-up.
Keir "Special K" Moore All lead guitarists need a cool nickname and Keir is no exception. Special K gets his name because he's. . . special. Our lead guitarist and backing vocalist Keir studied guitar at Academy of Contemporary Music Guildford - and is now a full-time musician perfoming live and working as a session musician. Keir teaches guitar at several schools around the South London area.
Neil Middlemass Neil is our funkist; which is like a normal bass player only much funkier. Neil started off on clarinet and saxophone with a focus on jazz and swing and can still be seen playing double bass in unplugged sets around the area.
Neil's influences are mainly funk and jazz - although he secretly harbours aspirations to be in the next Busted or McFly!
Chris Persiva Aside from his percussive & vocal prowess Chris is notable for his frequent nudity behind the drumkit. Luckily he doesn't practice this live (unless requested). Chris graduated with a degree in Drama and Performance studies and continued his education by studying drumming at the London Centre of Contemporary Music.
A singer songwriter and guitarist Chris is now a full-time musician both teaching and in demand performing and recording in several bands in the South London area.
