One Foot in the Groove are the only band in the East of England to have been short listed for The Wedding Industry Awards 2012. They have established themselves as an exciting and extremely talented party band with over 10 years' experience.
A great combination of outstanding vocals and some of London’s finest session musicians. Who between them have played with everyone from Gladys Knight The Foundations Boyzone Simply Red Kylie Minogue Michael Buble and many other big names in the music industry.
Together they perform an exciting selection of music from the last five decades with the emphasis always on variety. No gimmicks; just great live music to get you on the dance floor.
They pride themselves on their attention to detail professionalism both on and off the stage customer service and most importantly outstanding music. Available from a 5 to 7 piece band, with keyboards, drums, guitar/vocals, bass and female lead vocals. The 6 piece band has the additional of their fabulous male lead vocalist and the 7 piece has both male lead vocals and saxophone. A full brass section can also be added.
The flexibility of the band is what makes them stand out from your average party band. Offering a variety of options to suit every event and budget.. Jazz or lighter background music can be provided through dinner or a drinks reception. They will even play for your civil ceremony, if it is at the same venue as your ceremony, totally FREE of charge.
You choose the songs and we will arrange them for you. A song for the bride's entrance, the signing of the registers and the recessional. If you require a special first dance the band will happily do this for you, with a minimum of four weeks' notice, at no extra charge.

We just wanted to say a HUGE thank you for making our Wedding Reception absolutely amazing, we can honestly say you were one of the BEST decisions we made when planning our wedding.
Our guests couldn’t get over how great you were, literally the compliments were flying throughout the night and everyone was singing and dancing as soon as you started playing, you created such a great party atmosphere that we will remember forever.
There was not a single person sitting down which is what Jon and I wanted. The floor was buzzing all night long, we couldn’t have been happier! Even the children were dancing til the early hours as your music selection was something for everyone to enjoy and only a professional band like you could achieve that….
Believe me when I say no one wanted to leave the dance floor, some of our guests were still singing your songs when they were leaving the venue waiting for their taxis & in the taxi!!! (poor driver!)
Thanks for making our wedding so special and truly memorable.

Just wanted to say a massive thank you for helping make our Wedding even more special.
We were, I have to admit a little nervous booking a band that we hadn't heard before but you guys were totally amazing and I would have no hesitation in recommending you to any friends or family going forward.
We have had so many compliments from everyone saying they never left the dance floor, from Chris' 90 year old Granny to my 15 year old cousin.
Friends have literally said it was the best wedding band they’ve heard. Also playing the first dance live made it even more special.
Really appreciated all your help and communication in the build up to, it really helped not to be worrying about another detail.

"Thank you so much for the fantastic music you provided on our wedding day at Boreham House.
All our guests commented on how superb they thought the music was. The jazz band during dinner and then the 7 piece band in the evening it was all fantastic. You managed not only to get the football team up dancing but also my 80+ grandparents, just brilliant!
