Oliver was the resident pianist and vocalist at the Ritz Hotel London for seven years up until 2003. He has entertained many celebrities stars and royalty there since 1995. Although only in his mid thirties he has gained vast experience performing at nearly 5000 private and public events.
His feather-like touch on the keyboard and soulful voice are a trademark of his art and have entertained and been admired by thousands over the years. Bringing with him his own eletric piano and PA system Oliver is a self-contained package for your event.
A vast repetiore include the music of Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole and Ella Fitzgerald right through the spectrum to more contemporary artists such as Billy Joel, Elton John and Stevie Wonder.
Oliver's ability to work an audience is magical. His colossal musical gift and friendly personality coupled with an uncanny knack of knowing instinctivly what people want to hear (even before they do sometimes!) ensures that wherever he plays the party always goes with a swing. His voice (with it's three octave range) has been likened to Chet Baker and Billy Joel but with a style that is uniquely Oliver. As one New York music fan put it "He out-Manilows Manilow!"
Oliver creates all his own arrangements that are instantly recognisable for their pianistic dexterity as well as their vocal individualism.
Fees are for Friday and Saturday evenings. For daytime or mid-week events please call for quotations.
Ceremonies Oliver is all you need to ensure your ceremony is a memorable, musical occasion. He plays music for your entrance, signing the register and exit plus any incidental music required. He provides all neccessary equipment and sets up discreetly in your venue/church. All you have to do is choose the music. Popular pieces include Mendelsshon's "Wedding March", Pachelbels "Cannon" and Nat Cole's "Unforgettable" Oliver reckons he knows most tunes and any he doesn't know can be picked up in a matter of moments.
Receptions With ages of wedding guests ranging from 1 - 100 Oliver's repertoire is deep enough to cater for everyone. Names like Sinatra, Cole, Gershwin, Elton John, Billy Joel and Robbie Williams spring to mind. Many brides & grooms have been delighted with the warm, exciting, buzzing atmosphere created at their reception by Oliver's mix of easy-listening / well known, light jazz / good pop tunes.

"My Wife and I booked Oliver S through Alive Network and couldn't have been happier with the results. Alive Network communicated clearly with us and kept us updated when they were checking the availability of the artist, once the availability was confirmed, everything was presented to us in a straightforward manner.
Oliver contacted us a little while before the wedding and was very helpful and accomodating in any special requests we had. On the night he was on time and performed just as we wanted, there were plenty of comments from guests and staff alike about the quality of the pianist. He was very polite and we were very pleased with the service that we received.

A big thank you to Oliver for the fantastic musical entertainment at our wedding! He was very patient in setting up (we had unwisely ended up having lots of photos taken at the end of the Barn where he was going to be playing!) and provided a brilliant selection of music which was exactly what we wanted. He certainly got people up and dancing, including me! I am certainly very glad we booked through you - hassle free and the perfect result.

Oliver was such a hit with everyone! We had booked Oliver to play/sing toward the end of the Wedding Breakfast and to take us into the early evening. Oliver surpassed our expectations but his comment, "I welcome requests and can usually get a feel for the type of music people want..." was spot on! Whilst we had emailed a play list to Oliver, he had a rough idea of our requirements and I can remember talking to so many guests during this time and hearing Oliver sing/play every song that was so special to our family and friends.
Truly a professional with such a wonderful voice that can adapt to any song.
Guests in the day commented on how refreshing and relaxing Oliver's performance made them feel, as opposed to "the usual string quartet/cello/harp in the background" - this was just the sort of atmosphere Katie and David wanted to create.
The evening guests were also blown away by Oliver's performance as, usually, they arrive at an evening reception and there is that awkward lull before the entertainment begins. On this occasion they were met with the melodious tones of Oliver ("surely he is related to Nat King Cole" was the comment of one guest).
Brilliant day, brilliant weather and brilliant artist!

"Oliver was fantastic - we had so many great comments about the music. Everyone was really impressed - especially since he managed to play for about 4 hours with only minimal breaks and no repeats. "I was planning to send you an email to forward to Oliver. We were very pleased with the service he provided, he was friendly and accomodating and did not mind having to set up in one room for a couple of hours and then dismantle and reassemble in the second room where the food was being served. The music he provided was great and I left him to judge the sort of songs which would work - which he did wonderfully. Oliver has a lovely voice and I would recommend him to anyone - be it for a private or corporate event. I have already been congatulated on the success of the evening - and of course Oliver played his part in contributing to that.
