The Moondance Jazz Duo perform a highly sophisticated array of popular and jazz classics ideal for any function. With the added benefit of the double bass and vocals they can also cater for the more lively numbers but still with only two people meaning a tight budget can easily be adhered to!
With Ross Wall on piano graduate of the world-renowned Leeds College of Music and multi-instrumentalist Dr. Paul Tkachenko on Bass and Vocals you can be assured of top musicians that will adapt to any situation or style required. Dr. Paul is also able to play a total of 54 instruments including the saxophone sousaphone banjo and accordion but to name only a few. This enables the duo to form any type of duo that is desired!!
Not only top musicians, Moondance Duo also have top of the range equipment which can easily cater for up to 1000 people if necessary - and they won’t take up much space because there are only two of them!! Of course, extra musicians are easily obtainable, however, due to many industry contacts.
Moondance Jazz Duo was first set up during the Summer 2006 where the pair performed at the Bromley Wedding Fair and received an excellent compliment as being the ‘ideal package.’ They then proceeded with 3 Wedding bookings, - playing at the reception and during dinner, leaving clients highly satisfied. They had a weekly residency at the Piano Lounge, Epping during 2008 – headlining the Sunday Lunch Jazz, and it was a compliment to the duo that they were invited back every week.
Overall, they are a fun, young, lively duo who are formidable talents. They have been in the industry for a total of 30 years between them, yet boast an average age of just 25! This is a duo not to be missed – and their versatility means they are ideal for any occasion.
