"Please pass on my thanks to the members of the band for their superb performance on Saturday evening. I did thank them on the night, but I can't express my gratitude enough, as they were the icing on the cake for what turned out to be a fantastic celebratory weekend for my husband, Steve.
The music and vocals were brilliant and the band were very professional.
The dance floor was full throughout their performance and I have heard nothing but enthusiastic comments since Saturday.
Many thanks again to everyone involved and I will most certainly recommend License To Thrill to anyone who is wanting to provide live music for a special function."
Line up:6 piece band: drums, bass/vocals, lead guitar/vocals, keyboard/vocals, male and female lead vocals.
If required, one or two female singer / dancers and one male singer can be added to the line up, for an additional fee. This makes the set much more showy with costume changes mid-set. Also a sax player, full brass section and a percussionist.

License To Thrill are a 6 piece function band suitable for weddings corporate functions and all kinds of events where a superb party band is needed. They are fully self contained with a sound engineer and superb quality PA and lighting system.
The band is made up of male lead vocal, female lead vocal, keyboards / vocal, drums, bass / vocal and guitar / vocal. Extra singers, a sax player, a percussionist and a full 3-piece brass section (two saxes and trumpet) can be added where the budget allows.
The band have a huge set list and have received countless fantastic comments from their delighted clients.
License To Thrill have played at many prestigious venues including The Grosvenor, The Astoria, The Roadhouse, The Grand, Claridges, The Dorchester, ICC, Runnymede in Egham, Butlins and have played at many football grounds including Man Utd, Aston Villa, West Ham, Bolton to name but a few. They have supported lots of famous artistes including Robbie Williams, Steps, Sash, Boy George, Lightning Seeds Edwin Starr etc. and have numerous corporate customers including Tesco, BA, Orange, NSPCC, Saatchi & Saatchi, Armani and the Duke of Edinburgh Awards.
The band can play either 2 or 3 sets of music and can play mixed party music during their breaks. They normally perform as a function band in smart/casual dress for the first two sets and then bring the house down in costume as one of their tribute bands for the finale, but it’s your function and your choice so you can mix and match the sets to best suit your needs.

"We had a smallish venue but wanted a good band sound playing a mix across the decades to suit the varied tastes of the guests. License To Thrill definitely met our needs – 100%!
The band ensured the right mix of songs were picked so that guests were dancing all night long. Each band member was great in their musical abilities and wonderfully complemented by the lead female vocalist.
My husband and I plus every guest were blown away by how excellent they were in every aspect (every song was perfect and there were no cringe worthy moments that I have seen at other events with live bands!).
A BIG thank you to License To Thrill (and Alive Network) for providing such great entertainment and organising it so perfectly."

They were professional and provided a great party atmosphere. The music was great. Everyone was on the dance floor, the whole night. They played all our requests and made all our dedications.
Overall we were very pleased and I would recommend them for anyone's wedding. For a fun wedding atmosphere, License To Thrill are the ideal band.

Sorry for the late reply, this is in no way a reflection of our appreciation of your services.
We, and our guests, were blown away by License To Thrill (at our wedding on 2nd June). They had the dance floor heaving from the very first dance to the small hours of the morning. We haven't been to an event like it. We were really pleased that the band took time to understand exactly the type of music we wanted to hear, and filled three fabulous sets with our favorite songs. Our guests were especially entertained by the costume set at the end - it helped to set the pace for what continued to be a fantastic night of partying to the DJ. It made us proud to be the hosts of such a wonderful wedding reception.
All in all License To Thrill were a credit to themselves and 'Alive Network'. The band were punctual, discreet in setting up, were obviously talented musicians and were friendly and professional to go with it. I wouldn't change anything about the service they provided. In fact, a number of our guests have already asked us how they could book License To Thrill for their own events. What more of a compliment could there be?!
