Close-up Magic Dubbed one of the UK's top close-up magicians, Keven has been performing professionally for the past 7 years, scoring all kinds of gigs worldwide, performing for Celebrities, Royalty, and some of the worlds finest businesses.
This international performer has just returned to the UK after much success in Los Angeles. Keven was living in LA for the past 3 years, performing for many celebrity clients at high-end venues including the world famous ''Magic Castle’, celebrity hotspot 'Chateau Marmont'., and had a regular spot as a house magician at ‘Hidden’ restaurant at the time owned by Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Since being back in the UK, he has won many top magic competitions including the title ‘Close-up Magician of the year 2008’ along with many other titles.
He has performed at all the top venues in London, making a very rapid and prestigious reputation for himself… even amongst other magicians.
His performance is very fast-paced and modern sleight-of-hand, only using coins, cards and everyday objects.
Signed cards appear in pockets, coins magically appear under a spectators watch, a bottle of wine appears out of thin air and even penetrates through a table, and in the middle of all of this, watches and wallets are skilfully stolen -then of course returned to the spectator with their jaw dropped in a amazement… in other words his magic is not boring!
Cabaret (See Booking Options) Keven Starl starts the evening off with 20 minuets of Close-up magic, then goes into his cabaret, a perfect evening of entertainment!

"I booked Keven Starl for our event in Stoke on Nov 19th-for something different to just a disco. Keven arrived in plenty of time to set up and engaged the audience. Guest comments included "I keep wathcing him but can't work out how he does it!" and "He's cheating somehow..."
Booking and payment was easy and I would certainly use Alive Network again."

"We booked Keven for our Civil Partnership evening reception because we wanted something a little more unusual and thought that a close up illusionist/magician would be a nice change from the usual thing. We chose Keven because of his proximity to the venue and because he seemed very good value - as was confirmed later.
When guests arrived at the evening reception Keven was already there, dressed in a very fitting smart sharp dark suit and once we gave him the go ahead he began wowwing the guests with his close up magic.
I knew things were going well when one guest came up to me and said 'I can't believe I've just had my mind read' and then the next one said they were totally blown away and I should go and see for myself. In fact for the next two hours or so, people were seeking Keven out to marvel at his skills or walking away dazed at what they had just seen. Some of the single ladies also wanted to know if he was single too!
At the end of his time with us Keven tracked down myself and my partner and proceeded to dazzle and amaze us with a series of tricks which left us open mouthed and thrilled. I still have the card with our signatures on it!
Keven really did exceed our expectations by a mile and two days after the event people are still talking about it. I would totally recommend him for any event and I have no doubt that we will be booking him again in the future. Totally excellent!"
