Neil is a jazz guitarist performing from a wide repertoire songs from Cole Porter through to Norah Jones and by such performers as Tony Bennett through to James Taylor.

Either as a solo performer or as part of a trio Jumpback Jazz provides entertainment from the intimate up to the livelier settings; the appropriate ambience and performance will be given.

Jumpback Jazz has performed at many different venues both at home and abroad over the past 15 years from guitar festivals in Mexico and restaurants in his local North West. Along with the solo performances there have been performances alongside artists such as Kelly Lancaster (Willie Nelson, The Dixie Chicks); Gary Boyle (Isotope, Dusty Springfield, Mike Westbrook); Denny Laine (Wings, The Moody Blues).

Neil studied with Fred T Baker at the Birmingham Conservatoire which led to composition and arranging. After leaving the Conservatoire he continued playing with many different ensembles performing original compositions and arrangements most notably with Sam Dale (The Big Mojito, Deep Cabaret) and Richard Young (The Earlies, Indo Jazz Infusions) where they formed Rokasayers, a Jazz Fusion trio where for 5 years they wrote and performed to high critical acclaim.
