About Johnny Fingers (pianist)

Johnny Fingers has been a professional pianist for over 10 years and performs all genres, including specialist wedding music on the keyboard, dinner jazz and classical reception & cocktail party music, as well as show-stopping party sets for more up beat entertainment. He also plays keyboard in a rock & pop band as well as a jazz trio 'Johnny Fingers Trio' and is accomplished at performing full wedding ceremonies on a church organ if there is one available.

Performing music to suit all tastes from old jazz and show song standards through to easy listening and pop classics from the 60’s to today, Johnny Fingers' almost endless repertoire of songs and pieces also includes upbeat rock and pop music, classical and wedding music and tunes from many of the famous Broadway and West End shows. His wide selection of Jazz numbers includes composers such as Gershwin, Ellington, Cole Porter and Irving Berlin. Johnny Fingers also has an expanding selection of light classics so any mood or atmosphere can be catered for!

Johnny will even perform in an 'alternative' style eg. rock and pop songs in a classical style or jazz up slower songs and classical pieces if you require something a little different.

For specific events Johnny may be able to provide an additional saxophone player or guitarist with vocals depending on availability - ask your agent for further information. For a jazz trio take a look at the Johnny Fingers Trio in the jazz section.

Johnny Fingers was amazing, he turned up at the Hotel early, made sure he was set up way before he needed to start and was very professional. The music that John played set the mood for the whole evening, we are so pleased that we booked him, he really completed the evening for us. We left the music choice up to him and he set the tone brilliantly, he happily took requests and as the night went on we all got involved and ended up singing along and dancing in the middle of the bar. An excellent night was had by all and that was down to John, we cannot recommend him highly enough! Book him, he is brilliant!

Comments: Johnny Fingers recently played at our wedding reception. Right from the start he
was very professional and after speaking to him on the phone I knew that we
wouldn't be disappointed. He turned up promptly and set himself up with plenty
of time to spare. He was dressed very smartly (black tie) and was very friendly
and polite. His music was fantastic and really created the right atmosphere.
Johnny entertained us and our guests effortlessly for 3 hours and was very
flexible as to when he had a quick break (ie. when we did our speeches). He is
very skilled at what he does. I would definitely recommend Johnny Fingers to
anyone looking for a competent, professional musician who will deliver on the
day. He was absolutely GREAT! Please pass on our thanks to him again.

Using Alive Network made things very easy for us to book our artist. The whole
process was hassle free and Rebecca was on hand if we had any questions. I

We just wanted to say that Jonny was absolutely brilliant at the wedding. He made all the difference in the interval between dinner and the disco and everyone loved him. He played some great tunes and I don't think anyone put in a request that he didn't play. Plus, because he was playing out in the garden it gave everyone somewhere else to be rather than at the bar!!

We certainly wouldn't hesitate to recommend him if anyone is looking for a pianist, he really did a fantastic job!

The piano was just the right mood I was going for, everybody said how wonderful it was.

I think the service you offer has been very good. The communication has been great and the personal emails are appreciated.

Johnny did a great job and was just what we hoped for when we booked him. He did a great version of Snow Patrol's Chasing Cars for the first dance and then took loads of requests from the guests and seemed to be enjoying himself as much as everyone else and was still going strong when we left. Many of the guests commented on how good he was and much better than cheesy disco. As it says on your website Highly Recommend.

Just thought I'd drop you a line to say how well our conference went and how great Johnny was.

He is a very talented guy. He played all the songs that were thrown at him to perfection!

He played a perfect selection of music throughout dinner and then took requests post dinner and the evening ended up a very noisy affair, with lots of out of tune singing to some of the requested songs he played.

All in all it ended up a really, really good night thanks to Johnny.

We had a fantastic time thanks, and although it was very hectic in the morning, the afternoon and evening went superbly well and all according to plan!

Many thanks for organising Johnny Fingers to play for us, he was fantastic and everyone commented that he was professional and perfect for the entertainment that we had planned.
We can't complain about any aspect of Johnny's performance as he was just perfect.... I'm not sure that anyone made any requests in the end but I was making sure to tell everyone that if they had a request all they need do was ask.

I am sorry not to have got back to you sooner. Johnny Fingers really was fantastic! He was so relaxed which made us relax and he was indeed very flexible and went with the flow, which is just what you want when you never know exactly how a special event will go.

His playing was amazing and thoroughly enjoyed by all our guests who commented on what a relaxed Reception we had, Johnny certainly added to this.
A variety of music was played to suit all tastes and dances! The young ones had songs to dance to and even the oldies got up and had a slow dance too which was lovely to see as often they just stand to then side and watch. Johnny also played a few songs which we had specifically asked for before the day which made it feel even more special and tailored to us.

Johnny arrived in good time and sorted himself out and knew to ask for anything he wanted and he looked quite at home and settled.

TERRIFIC!! I am very pleased that i followed the recommendation that I had been given by my sister to have Johnny!
