Jazz Café are a versatile quartet able to play Swing, Jazz, Latin, Bosa Nova or continental musette with Sinatra style vocals, Stephan Grapelli style gypsy violin, Django Rheinhart style guitar and stomping Hot Club de Paris double bass!

Repertoire
The ensemble’s repertoire offers Jazz and Swing standards, a selection of popular tracks from Michael Buble or a Sinatra/Rat Pack selection. Jazz Café can also provide classic French Musette and Hot Club De Paris Swing or an evening of cool Latin Jazz and Bossa Nova.

Meet The Members
Although a fairly new ensemble, lead singer Mitch has vast experience having performed all over the UK, including at The Royal National Theatre and for the Lord Mayor’s Banquet at The London Guildhall.

Violinist Diane Mitchell is a former member of The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and has freelanced in many West End shows and pop recordings. Diane has also toured the USA, Ireland, Canada, Germany and South Africa.

Lead guitarist Tony Harris is a regular on the London jazz and blues circuit, having trained at Goldsmith’s College, University of London.

Bass player and harmony vocalist, Jo Oulton is a former member of the East Sussex Youth Orchestra and has played extensively throughout the UK and Europe.
