Hoxton Soul
Hoxton Soul is Steve Giles and Chris Johnson. They have extensive performing experience and have spent many years perfecting their craft through a variety of projects including a disco harmony quartet a pop/soul choir and a variety of acoustic and fully live outfits. Both of the guys are also certified teachers and lobbyists for legendary vocal technique Speech Level Singing which only further embellishes their already outstanding performance credentials.

Everything before now has certainly contributed to a polished act from two incredible male vocalists based around Soul Motown RnB Funk and a peppering of swing for those more prestigious occasions. Some pop has also been know to creep in to the set when required…

Together with their previous ventures they have performed leads in the bright lights of London’s West End at theatres such as The London Palladium and the Strand Theatre and have been half way across the world to destinations such as Dubai. They have even performed in the presence of Prince Charles at the wonderfully regal St James Palace at a start-studded bash in aid of war veterans.

As Hoxton Soul they won a singing contest to win the opportunity to support Britain’s premiere soul singer ‘Lemar’ close to their hometown in Southampton. They have also had the privilege of supporting 70’s Disco outfit Heatwave Alexander O’Neal and The Drifters as part of a live music initiative around the South. In between ‘mixing it up’ with the stars, Hoxton Soul regularly perform at bars clubs music venues and functions to party-goers who always come away buzzing. However their stylish but approachable demeanour and slick mix of music will perfectly compliment your corporate event dinner or wedding.

Either way it is clear to see that Hoxton Soul are at the forefront of their genre and are constantly rejuvenating their audiences with their dynamic and original style.
