"We booked Guy James through Alive Network for my 50th Birthday Party for around 30 guests.
Guy James is a true talent, friendly, polite and well presented. His attitude was superb, his singing, choice of music and guitar performance have been very well received by all my guests, they all spoke very positively about him and he excelled in his performances. His sessions were smooth and consistently good and he was a real pleasure to listen too, the tone and sound levels were just right.
I would not hesitate to recommend Guy as he was excellent in his live sessions, his recordings on the web site did not justify his talent, the renditions of music & songs he played were fantastic, which he mixed to the tone of the party.

Guy provides acoustic music and arrangements that make for very easy listening and enjoyment. He can go from creating a really intimate atmosphere at your event with his velvety voice and captivating versions of the songs he covers, to having the crowd singing, clapping and dancing along. Guy has a great deal of experience as a performer and has played support slots for the likes of The Wailers and Kool and The Gang. He has more recently played guitar for Brit Award winner Emeli Sandé in Milan.
Guy brings a professional high quality 300 watt Yamaha PA system with him so you do not have to worry about hiring anything in. This is all included in the cost. Set up time is short and is no more than 25 mins. Guy will provide music from a portable music player in between sets. This will consist of a selection of songs that are suited to the style of music but is also happy for you to provide your own portable music player to play music through the PA system in between his sets if you prefer. Guy is also happy for you to highlight any songs from his set list that you definitely want played from the set as there is no set running order, songs are chosen and played according to the audience reaction – every show is different :)
Guy is originally from Gibraltar where he is an established singer/ songwriter and prior to relocating to London gigged regularly in Gibraltar and Southern Spain. His debut EP (made up of original compositions) has received overwhelming support in Gibraltar with his songs being regularly played on local radio.

"We booked Guy to perform at our wedding, which being in a pub was a fairly informal affair.
Guy was brilliant. He contacted me in advance to arrange a suitable play list and was happy to tailor this on the night in response to audience reaction. He arrived on time and got set up with no fuss. He was very easy to deal with and came across as a thoroughly nice chap.
Our weddings guests loved him and we had lots of positive comments, including a couple of people asking how they could book him for their own events.
We were very happy with Guy's performance and would highly recommend him to anyone.
I'd also like to thank you for your help with arranging the booking and liaising with Guy. An excellent service.

"Alive Network were very professional and provided super communication in the run up to our event. We felt safe knowing that our booking was in good hands and we were taken care of Gemma who provided amazing customer service.
Guy James was outstanding! We were a little worried as we hadn't met Guy beforehand, but we had nothing to worry about. We asked Guy to perform a song that wasn't in his repertoire and he blew us and all our guests away with an outstanding performance. He later performed 2 other sets and his voice was truly beautiful, he adapted his style to suit the audience. I would highly recommend guy and would book him again tomorrow!!"
