Brought together by its members’ mutual love of great soul & Funk music Grooveadelic is one of London’s most exciting and versatile - 100% live - covers bands. Their speciality is the gentle fusion of the finest soul disco funk & Motown of yesteryear, together with rock, pop, acid jazz and dance hits from 90's - 00's. There's something for all ages!

Originally started in February 2005, Grooveadelic have evolved through a steady screening selection and audition process to find the best musicians around London based on their amazing technical ability and love of the music they perform.

Grooveadelic are known to rock any party with floor-filling hits blending one song into another to keep the energy high and the dance floor packed from wall to wall! Alternatively they are able to mellow out a crowd with a smooth easy-listening set in their own unique style to keep the atmosphere electric and their audiences captivated.

Fronted by two amazing vocalists Grooveadelic are a group of nine professional and semi-professional musicians whose vocalists have collaborated with the likes of none other than Dianne Warren, Beverly Knight and Nitin Sawhney and have appeared on MTV, BBC, Radio1 and Top of the Pops.

They are supported by a stunning three piece horn section and a solid rhythm section to authentically recreate the sound of the 70s funk, disco, soul and Motown era; one listener commented “I can’t believe that you guys can sound EXACTLY like the record!”

Grooveadelic pride themselves on their professionalism and ability to accommodate any situation whether it be to keep a dance floor hyped or create a special moment such as the first dance at a wedding. The band are happy to learn up to 2 requests for no extra charge and provided they have 4 weeks' notice to learn them. On the night the band come fully self contained and provide music between sets for no extra charge.
