The music and the show
Groove Tube are a Cambridge based function band who play funk soul R&B blues and jazz music. The band is ideal for entertaining on special occasions such as a wedding party corporate event or function where you want to dance and experience the excitement that only a professional live band can deliver. The set list includes numerous popular songs which are guaranteed to fill the dance floor. Check out the demos of Groove Tube performing dance hits such as "I Feel Good" (James Brown) "Long Train Running" (Doobie Brothers) "Mercy" (Duffy) "This Love" (Maroon 5) and "I Wish" (Stevie Wonder). Groove Tube will keep the dance floor buzzing and your function will be remembered and talked about for years to come!

For events requiring background music before the big party begins Groove Tube can also perform light jazz music solo piano, or classical guitar to keep your guests entertained whilst they eat and chat. And if you need a disco to finish off the evening Groove Tube can provide the "essential disco" service too!

Groove Tube are all highly experienced musicians who between them have performed at thousands of formal events and venues including the TV and radio, celebrity parties, major holiday resorts, international music festivals, with clients that have included Centre Parcs, Channel 4, BBC Radio, and Jamie Oliver.

Options
Groove Tube offer various options tailored to your event. The length of time that the band plays for can be between 1 and 3 hours.

The band can provide background music prior to main performance and this can include light jazz from solo piano or piano and sax, or alternatively classical guitar music. Additionally the band can provide a disco service to complete the evening’s entertainment.

The size of PA can also be varied to suit the venue with options of a smaller system where space or volume might be a problem, or a full range PA for larger events or where a bigger sound is required.

Equipment overview
Groove tube use professional quality equipment to ensure a great sound at every performance. This includes Gibson and Fender guitars, Warwick bases, Sonor and Pearl drums, Yamaha and Korg keyboards, Yamaha and Selmer horns, Sennheiser and Sure microphones, Marshall, Rivera, Line 6, Roland, and Behringer amplification, and KAM LED lighting.
