"You and the band were just great, once again. 10 years on and better than ever! (Sadly, I don't think we can say the same for us!)
Both during the evening and afterwards we had many people comment on just how much they enjoyed listening to and dancing to your music.
A friend of mine said that you sounded like a much bigger band and we all agreed that the female vocalist....sorry didn't catch her name....was really impressive.
Many thanks, once again.
See you in another 10 years??

The Acoustic Duo Gordon and Steve display a great knowledge of good song-writing, mining nuggets from the richest seams of rock and blues, arranging them for two acoustic guitars, and producing some absolute gems of interpretation. Soulful vocals and a penetrating guitar sound bring a new lease of life to carefully-chosen material from a variety of genres, as they eschew the obvious in favour of a truly original take on some classic tunes.

What people have said...
"No need for labels, no need indeed, what label could you apply anyway. This CD is soaked in jazz feeling, played by technically immaculate musicians interpreting fine tunes in which those composed by the band leader/vocalist himself need fear no challenge. Gordon's voice is unique and his own. Altogether a thoughtful and delightful collection." George Melly, One of the UK's most ubiquitous Jazz critics and writers
"FMR have discovered a gem in Webber. With a rich soulful voice and understated delivery he is a must for "dinner jazz" fans. As well as original compositions, "No Need for Labels" features superb covers of "Nights in White Satin", "What a Difference a Day Makes" "The Long and Winding Road" and Lionel Richie's "Hello". Harmonia Mundi (Harmonia Mundi are one of Europe's leading and respected distributors of Classical and Jazz music) Ian Fenton
"Heard this guy at a Mayfair wine bar, fronting an 8 piece soul band with a hi energy vocal performance that has to be heard to be believed. The album is a shock! Gordon has put together some fine, known (and not so well known) jazzers. Play "No need" and hear a singer who is world apart from the Mayfair wine bar performer. The album is a joy, and the vocal performance oozes subtle, experienced colourful blues. Why FMR (the record company) have categorised this superb soul and brilliant blues man as "jazz" heaven only knows?" Souled & Blue London "fanzine" and specialist publications George C "Souled & Blue"
"Gordon and the band were fabulous! the music was fantastic! they were exceedingly professional and helpful from start to finish, they helped make our awards ceremony a resounding success. As an event organiser, I would happily recommend them for any corporate event in the future as this is one less headache to worry about and you can relax safe in the knowledge that the entertainment is in such very good hands. " Kate McGee
"Thank you for fantastic performance; you made our evening very special. Gordon's vocals were first class and his backing band soulful and entertaining at all times. We felt at ease the whole evening because everyone enjoyed the band so much. We had a diverse cross-section of guests but everyone found the band to their liking. The band were fun, entertaining, very accommodating, but most of all -SOULFUL. So many bands run through a set of tired old standards with all the verve of an office typing pool on a Friday afternoon - this band are different; they actually love what they are doing and the guests at our reception loved every minute." Wedding client, Chris & Viv Lee
