Fantasma are a stunning 6 piece wedding/function/party band formed in 2004 and have played in most of the top venues in Scotland.

Based in Midlothian, they are now gaining a reputation as the band to have at your wedding reception/function.

The line up is as follows:
Fantasma is fronted by two of Scotland’s finest female vocalists, Vicki and Jenny. Their soulful but yet powerful vocals with one of a kind harmonies deliver a performance not to be missed.

Vicki – Lead/Backing Vocals
Vicki started entertaining audiences in local talent shows as a solo artist when she was 13 years old and after successfully walking away with the number one prize on several occasions found the confidence to pursue her career as a musician.

After working in many top venues all over Scotland Vicki joined Fantasma 8 years ago and is still surprising audiences with her one of-a-kind vocal ability.

Jenny – Lead/Backing Vocals
Jenny started singing at the tender age of 5. She has been involved with her local theater group for many years and appeared in Broadway Musicals. Jenny is continuing to impress audiences with her fantastic vocal ability and passion for the music.

Ray - Bass
Ray started playing guitar and piano at 8 years old and switched to bass in his mid teens. (Band couldn’t find a decent bass player) He played his first proper paying gig at 15 and went on to play professionally in various bands until giving it up in the seventies. He started playing seriously again in 1998 and played in various line ups that eventually led to the formation of Fantasma in 2004. Now the only original member left he still enjoys every minute of it.

Gareth - Keyboard/Vocals
Gareth started Piano lessons at the tender age of 7.  Achieved Grade 6 Piano, Grade 5 Clarinet and Grade 5 Theory of music.  He has been in bands for 27 years.  He was the lead singer with his own band for 16 years but the opportunity to play with G
Fantasma was too good to miss.  

Stuart - Drums/Backing Vocals
Stuart started playing  drums at 11.  He has played over Europe with various rock/pop/blues/soul bands over the last 25 years. Now as well as a live musician he is a professional drum teacher running his own drum tuition studios. Dance music and big band is his thing but with all his experience happy just to play. Oh and he is most definitely the joker in the band!

Martin - Guitar
Martin has been a musician for more than 30 years and a guitarist for more than 20 of those. His previous musical incarnations have included punk bands, classical orchestras, gospel choirs and a wealth of rock/pop/blues bands, as well as writing and performing music in theater (from Shakespeare to Panto and most everything in between!). He loves being in Fantasma and thoroughly enjoys allowing Stuart to think he's funny.

About the Show
The music is performed LIVE without the use of backing tracks or Midi files. Everything is played through a modern active PA system mixed by an experienced sound engineer (up to 3K Watts to suit venue).

Fantasma also set up a 3600 watt light show (venue size permitting).

Fantasma have full public liability insurance and all equipment is fully PAT tested.

The Set List
The set list is carefully chosen from a library of over 80 of the best songs over the last forty years to suit the occasion. Ceilidh is also available on request.
Every performance is guaranteed to have all on the dance floor whether young or old.

If a favourite song is requested for a special occasion e.g. first dance for a wedding Fantasma will gladly play the selection but 2 or 3 weeks' notice may be required if the track is unfamiliar.

Demo Tracks
All Fantasma demos are recorded in a live situation with no studio tweaking providing you with a true representation of the band. What you hear is what you get!
