"Many, many thanks for your musical accompaniment at last Friday's Hog Roast Party in Gallowstree Common. A huge number of people have commented on how appropriate your repertoire was to the theme of the party.
Highlights *Able to play in any style and for any type of event *Big and lively sound in a small space *Requests for specific items are no problem *Wedding ceremonies and services are a specialty
Double Time is an extremely flexible duo able to fit into any setting. The use of both clarinet and saxophone means that the duo can play in an elegant classical way and yet move swiftly into a more upbeat and contemporary style. The guitar is an equally versatile instrument suited perfectly to accompanying and complementing other instruments in a range of musical styles.
Daniel Sanford-Casey is a classically trained clarinetist and saxophonist at home in almost any genre of music. He has attended the Royal Academy of Music and Birmingham Conservatoire and holds a Master’s degree in musical performance. He has always enjoyed playing in the jazz and popular styles and has experience with a wide range of ensembles from orchestras to big bands. Daniel has performed with musicians such as Sir Elton John and has entertained Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales among others.
Daniel has many years' experience organising the music for functions and weddings and his writings on the subject of wedding music have been published in several leading wedding magazines.
Peter Ross is a versatile guitarist who holds a degree in music from Sheffield University and has also studied at the Academy of Contemporary Music specialising in recording. His technical knowledge helps assure that Double Time always sounds at its best in any environment whilst his prowess as a musician means that he has performed in venues including the Royal Albert Hall and Wembley and been engaged for high profile events such as the X Games.
Double Time's aim is to provide quality live music to your specification and deliver this in a highly professional and efficient manner eliminating all stress from the process of booking live musicians.
Outfit Options Double Time offer several different outfit options to complement your function:
* White dinner jacket with white shirt and black trousers – red or black bow tie - a classic outfit used at many concerts – including the Last Night of the Proms.
* White dinner jacket with black shirt and black trousers – white bow tie - a contemporary twist on the white dinner jacket.
* Black dinner jacket with white shirt and black trousers – red or black bow tie – a formal classic outfit commonly referred to as Black Tie.
* Black suit with black shirt – black and white striped tie - The classic musicians’ uniform – very smart.
* Lounge suits - If you wish for the guys to blend in with your guests then this outfit is an excellent choice. We will perform in non-matching suits with a conservative shirt and tie combination.
Other requests can usually be accommodated with sufficient notice. A charge may be levied if it is necessary for the duo to hire additional items.

"I just wanted to say thank you so much for playing at our wedding.
I didn't get a chance to speak to either of you on the day as it was so busy, but the music was great, exactly the kind of atmosphere I'd been hoping for and everyone commented on how nice it was to have the jazz during the drinks.
Best wishes for future performances,
Victoria"
