Dhol drumming is very lively & colourful Traditional Cultural folk music from the Punjab northern part of India.

The Dhol Blasters/ Bhangra Blasters are World's First team of young Male/Female Vibrant Dhol players based in England UK.

The Dhol and Bhangra Blasters are created and managed by one of the pioneers of Bhangra Music industry in the UK World’s greatest Dhol maestro Gurcharan Mall Chair who has many accolades and awards to his name he recently received Community Excellence Award (BCABA) ITV - Arts Leadership Midlander of the year and House of Commons - Panjabi Cultural award.

The group's teams have performed at stage Shows Festivals Melas Processions Weddings and all sorts of events all over the country and abroad. In 1999 the Dhol Blasters took part in a Dholathan and set a world record by playing for 42 hours non-stop and in 2001 they broke that record - 53 hours non-stop. Both of these was done to raise money for charities - teams over the years have helped to raise Hundreds of Thousands of pounds for various charities such as Children In Need, Gujarat Earthquake Appeal, Ethiopia and Rwanda Appeals, ear & throat, Eye hospital Birmingham & India, kidney dialysis machine Wolverhampton, Cancer research, Brain tumour, Parkinson’s disease, diabetes research and many more.

The Dhol Blasters have also performed at the openings of:

They have Released more than 9 albums, and for some they have received Platinum & Gold discs and won many awards.
