So many of our friends have said that they thought they were brilliant! The band arrived early to set up well before the party started,and as the weather was so good we were actualy out in the garden until 9pm, so they even had time to watch the first England world cup match! There was not a single moment when the dance floor was not full, all ages were delighted with the music and as this was a 50th birthday and a 21st birthday we had a mix of ages. Matt and his band were extremely friendly and it was lovely to have met them all. Becky on vocals was fantastic, her Florence and the Machine song brilliant!! All in all we would highly recommmend the Cartoon Kings, a great night ! Lots of people have asked where we found them and I have been telling them about Alive Network. There is nothing that we would change, and felt it was beyond the call of duty to even have Matt ring us from Heathrow as he was going on his honeymoon, to tell us that all was arranged and they would be here on the night!! They arrived promptly and set up at the reception with minimal disturbance. Once they began performing they kept people on the dance floor all night long, with many of our guests asking how we found them and commenting on how great they were and what a brilliant night they made of our reception. In between sets all members of the band were more than happy to socialise with our guests, I can only apologise to them for the "snow white" incident! I'd be grateful if you could pass on both my and my wife's gratitude, they helped make the whole evening as sucessful as it was.
