I just wanted to thank you for your part in organising the entertainment for our daughters 21 birthday party. It was in our house with only a small group of family and friends, but we had a fantastic evening with Calvin Keys playing piano. He was tremendous and very tolerant of our rather dodgy singing. Calvin Keys has over 12 years' experience performing on his own, in bands and with singer/songwriters. He is fully classically trained but plays mostly by ear. Based in Birmingham he travels to other locations in or around the Midlands to play at wedding ceremonies/receptions, civil partnerships, luncheons, restaurants, corporate occasions, private parties, etc.
His repertoire covers all genres, including classical, jazz, contemporary, to the latest pop songs, and he can take requests from guests. In the event that you would like him to play a special song which he does not already know, he will happily learn it prior to the occasion.
If there is not an adequate piano at the venue, he will bring along a digital piano with a portable stand. The digital piano has an organ sound if required, eg. if traditional music is required at a wedding ceremony.
He can also arrange a female vocalist to form a lounge duo if required, or a percussionist for a more uptempo feel.
Music between sets is available on a CD or mp3 player; one or two requests can be taken prior to the event at no extra charge. Please ask your agent for details.

"I found Alive Network very convenient and very amenable. It is a sevice I would recommend and would use again. It really does make finding a performer much easier.
Paul (Calvin Keys) did such a good job on Jason and Kelly's wedding day. The music was wondeful and flawless (I am a musician myself and I was extremely pleased).
Everyone really enjoyed it, and many people specifically commented on how pleasant it was, all of the guests were very impressed, and the even the staff at the venue were saying how lovely it was. If we ever need a pianist in the future we will definitely be using Paul (Calvin Keys) again, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

"We would like to say thanks for the superb music you provided for our wedding on 10 July.
The classical set before the reception drew very favourable comments, and all the guests without exception loved the evening entertainment, as you saw when the oldies got up to rock 'n roll! Please also give thanks to Laura for her sensitive percussion role.
You played an important part in helping to make our day such a happy one. I have attached a copy of one of the many thank you cards we received, from a guy who really knows his live music. It's not easy to read, but it sums up what we all thought.
