All That Jazz really is one of the country's finest Jazz specialists working in the music business today. Whether it's atmospheric music during dining, or at a drinks reception, music for dancing or an all out concert, All That Jazz is the perfect choice to add style and sophistication to any event.
All That Jazz has a wealth of experience playing at high profile events across the country. They have appeared on ITV's "This Morning" show with Philip Schofield and Fern Britten and have also performed as the backing band to the 2006 "X Factor" runner up, Ray Quinn.
They have also appeared at venues such as The Grosvenor House and Hilton Hotel London, The Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club and the NEC Birmingham, The Crown Plaza Manchester and the Royal Berkshire Hotel Surrey, to name just a few. They have also made countless appearances at stately homes and country house hotels, for occasions such as corporate events, weddings, parties and birthday celebrations etc, as well as being engaged by the British Military on many events throughout the year.
All That Jazz is happy to be completely flexible with regard to the ensemble line up, dress code, special requests, set and playing times etc in order to meet the requirements of the client exactly, to ensure that the event is a complete success and enjoyed by all.
All That Jazz is made up of hand picked professional musicians based throughout the UK and led by Mathew Richardson Bmus (Hons) who is a former scholarship student of the Royal Academy of Music London. Away from the ensemble Mathew along with the other members enjoy vast success as freelance musicians working at home and abroad on television, radio, on commercially available recordings and in some of the country's finest concert venues.
All That Jazz can be employed in the following standard line ups: - (Bespoke tailor made line ups are available on request i.e. solo, duo etc.)
Standard Trio = (Piano, Bass, Drums)... This size of ensemble is perfect to provide music at a background level, which is clearly audible but does not interfere with the lively conversations taking place between family and friends or colleagues. The musicians have honed their skills over many years of playing corporate, wedding and military events where the ability to play low level swinging music is essential. The All That Jazz Trio creates a relaxed and classy atmosphere which enhances immensely the enjoyment of any meal or drinks reception. Alternative Trio line ups are available on request.
Quartet = (Sax, Piano, Bass, Drums)... Still perfectly at home playing at background level as described in the Trio section, but with the addition of the saxophone to the rhythm section, the quartet has the ability to perform a fully blown Jazz gig to any size of audience, playing a set of Jazz Standards fused if necessary with Funk, Soul and Blues tunes just for good measure. This ensemble is perfect not only for functions such as corporate, wedding, birthday and military but also as the main evening’s entertainment at any jazz club, restaurant, venue or bar, providing a full concert for all music lovers. A range of P.A. sizes are available on request to cater for any size of event. Alternative Quartet line ups are available on request.
Quintet = (Vocals, Sax, Piano, Bass, Drums) With the addition of vocals to the quartet, The All That Jazz Quintet is able to play all of the famous Swing Standards from Sinatra to Ella Fitzgerald and very much more. Since Robbie Williams re-popularised the ‘Rat Pack’ repertoire with his number one hit “Have You Met Miss Jones”, this is the perfect time and ensemble to entertain any audience in that style through to more modern ballads and bossa novas from the likes of Nora Jones and Diana Krall. Great for functions such as corporate, wedding, birthday and military but also as the main evening’s entertainment at any jazz club, restaurant, venue or bar, providing a full concert for all music lovers. Alternative Quintet line ups are available on request.

"Hi Graham,
I realise that a month has passed since our wedding but I would like to say how fantastic the trio who played at our wedding were.
The lads played a great part in our special day, our guest are still commenting on how they created the right atmosphere, unassuming but brilliant.
We couldn't of asked for better.
My only regret is that, because of everything going on, we didn't thank them all enough but hope that this note will surfice and would appreciate if you could forward on our gratitude.
They far exceeded our expections but were everything we hoped for. Part of the job is creating the great music - the other is fitting it in to the occasion - They were perfect!
Good luck to them all - they deserve everything good to come to them.
Thanks again for their part in our memorable day
Kind regards
Sandra Skellon

"Dear Seth,
I was certainly going to email you as soon as I emerged from the haze of unreality. The wedding was simply wonderful. Words fail me.
I wont bore you with the mother-of-the-bride cooing but the music throughout the day was the highlight. The choirmaster and organist at their local church is an Oxford organ scholar, and they had learnt a new choral piece especially for our wedding, which they performed superbly; he also provided a soprano to sing a Mozart aria during the signing, as Darryl loves Mozart.
The guests had been immensely moved by all this, and to arrive in the gardens of the Ag Coll with Hannah playing so beautifully as the Pimms went round was just magical.
It was no surprise that All That Jazz were so accomplished as Darryl is a great jazz enthusiast (and skilled guitarist although he would never mention it!) and we knew he would book musicians of exceptional talent. There were several serious jazz cognoscenti amongst the guests, including my husband. I am not one of them but even I could tell that I was exceptionally fortunate to have such musicians at my daughter's wedding. I honestly think they exceeded even Darryl's expectations, and he said it would seem incredible when he sees James play at Glastonbury that the last time he saw him perform was for his wedding.
I can't praise the musicians enough, but really Seth, when one is organising a wedding the unseen part of a successful event is the people like yourself who facilitate these things: return one's emails & phone calls and listen and advise. Thank you for your patience and efficiency. You really were dealing with the two opposite extremes in musical experience in Darryl and myself, and we were absolutely delighted with everything. It is a real joy to know how happy it made Darryl and Clarissa.
My very best wishes, Christina"

"Dear Gemma
All went extremely well on Saturday, thanks. We all thought that "All that jazz" were excellent and many guests commented on the high quality of the music. I think the musicians enjoyed the event too - not least because of the very positive feedback received.
Thank you for all your help and efficiency over this booking. I would be happy to recommend Alive Network to friends etc.
Regards
John Fletcher"

"Hello Seth,
Please pass on our thanks to All that Jazz for a wonderful evenings
entertainment. Their music was perfectly suited to the venue. The sets were
timed just right and the sound was at a level that still allowed our guests
to converse with each other throughout the evening which made a refreshing
change from the "standard disco".
We had a first class service from yourself and Alive Network, Cheryl and I
would like to thank you and All that Jazz for contributing to a day we shall
never forget.
